COOLING MEMBER FOR A MOBILE ICE RINK
A cooling member for a mobile ice rink includes a plurality of pipes for transporting a coolant, wherein the pipes comprise at least two sections coupled by a connector. Cooling elements are provided at the locations of the connectors.
Plumbing with internal flow guides
A conduit assembly may comprise: a pipe; a plurality of hollow passages disposed through the pipe; and a plurality of flow guides disposed in the pipe, each flow guide in the plurality of flow guides at least partially defining a respective hollow passage in the plurality of hollow passages. The conduit assembly may act as a heat exchanger.
Power plant cooling systems
Power Plant Cooling Systems are designed to replace Once-Through Cooling systems and/or cooling towers currently used to cool power plants that generate electricity. The intake and discharge piping of the cooling water would be connected by piping/tubing that would serve as a geothermal loop that would be underground and/or in a body of water next to the power plant that would serve as a heat exchange medium. An alternative embodiment would use a latticework of piping/tubing over the turbine hall (equipment building) and/or the containment building(s) to serve as a heat exchange medium when the atmospheric conditions are proper.
EV charging cable system with cooling
A charging system for an electric energy storage includes a cable assembly and a plug transition between the cable assembly and the electric energy storage. The cable assembly includes a cable provided with at least two separate power conductors and at least one earth conductor. The power conductors are spaced apart from each other within the cable, with each surrounding at least one tube and including a plurality of intertwisted wires stranded around the tube. The cable assembly also includes at least two separate cooling circuits within the cable, namely a first cooling circuit having a cooling fluid in the tubes surrounded by the power conductors, and a second cooling circuit having a cooling fluid in auxiliary tubes to cool the plug transition. Systems and methods are also provided for charging an electrical energy storage on basis of such a cable assembly.

Liner for insulating high temperature process piping against thermal fatigue failure
Provided herein is a liner that can be loosely inserted in process pipe to form a lined pipe and to decrease the rate of heat transfer between process fluids flowing through the liner and the process pipe. The liner provided herein can reduce applied thermal loading on the outer pipe resulting from, for example, turbulent mixing between fluids having different temperatures (with or without stratification), circumferential thermal gradients, and/or longitudinal thermal gradients. An annulus between the process pipe and liner can be at least partially filled by process fluids, thereby creating a thermal buffer to further decrease the rate of heat transfer between the fluids and the process pipe.

ADJUSTABLE HEAT TRANSFER ELEMENT
An adjustable, customizable, and configurable heat transfer element is structured for facilitating hear transfer in pipe systems having process pipes. The heat transfer element is configured for transferring heat between a process pipe and a corresponding tracer tube in order to maintain a fluid within the process pipe within a predetermined temperature range. In this regard, the heat transfer element may comprise a body having a nested portion that forms a cavity therein, each extending in a longitudinal direction. The body is configured for operative coupling to the process pipe. The cavity of the nested portion is configured to receive a tracer tube therein such that the tracer tube is positioned in between, and at least partially surrounded by the body and the process pipe. Moreover, the body may comprise a spine that is utilized to aid in bending the heat transfer element in one or more planes.
