Device for the internal monolithic insulation of a welded pipeline joint

A device internally insulating a welded pipeline joint between pipes having an internal protective coating, in a first variant, includes a power actuator having a cylindrical elastic working member for radial expansion when excess pressure occurs inside its cavity. A cylindrical casing of elastic anti-adhesive material arranged coaxially on the member exterior can have channels for exhausting air and supplying a compound. In a second variant, the device sleevelessly insulates an annular space. A casing made of an anti-adhesive material is centrally reinforced by an elastic cord. Using a cylindrical elastic anti-adhesive casing coaxially arranged on the exterior of a power actuator elastic working member forms an annular space in the weld zone either using a protective sleeve, or by a reinforced casing portion. A vacuum in the space is filled by a compound. The elastic anti-adhesive material allows easy removal of the casing from the hardened compound surface.

A bladder assembly including a body, a bladder received in the body, the bladder defining an internal volume and including an annular sealing bead, the sealing bead defining an opening into the internal volume, and a sealing member including a shaft having a first end and a second end, and an engagement portion connected proximate the second end, the sealing member being partially received within the internal volume and being moveable between at least a first position, wherein the engagement portion is spaced from the sealing bead, and a second position, wherein the sealing bead is compressed between the engagement portion and the body.

Detecting and repairing method for external diseases of buried drainage pipeline

A method for detecting and repairing external diseases of a buried drainage pipeline includes steps of: S1, controlling a robot to enter the pipeline to perform comprehensive detection of pipeline diseases; S2, analyzing detected pipeline diseases with a computer terminal based on detection results of the robot, and determining locations of external diseases of the pipeline; S3, controlling the robot to detect a depth of the external diseases of the pipeline relative to a ground surface; S4, determining a projection position of the external diseases of the pipeline on the ground surface according to detection results of the step S2, and drilling a hole from the ground surface; determining a drilling depth according to detection results of the step S3, and inserting a grouting pipe; and S5, grouting and repairing the external diseases of the pipeline through the grouting pipe.

Conduit locking device

A conduit locking device includes a housing having a first end, a second end, and a sidewall disposed between the first end and the second end. The conduit locking device may further include a slide engaged with the sidewall of the housing, the slide including an extension arm and an end portion structurally configured to engage with an inner wall of a conduit. The slide may be extendable via the extension arm from a first position substantially adjacent to the sidewall of the housing to a second position disposed away from the sidewall of the housing, where, when in the second position, the slide is configured to retain the conduit locking device at a fixed position within the conduit through the engagement of the end portion with the inner wall of the conduit.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUS FOR USE IN MAIN PIPES CONNECTED TO BRANCH CONDUIT

A pipe rehabilitation system and/or robot can be used inside a pipe to measure characteristics of branch conduits, install plugs into branch conduits before the pipe is lined with a liner, remove portions of plugs and liners after lining to restore fluid communication between the pipe and branch conduits, and/or install fittings into the branch conduits to connect the liner to the branch conduits. A probe can measure characteristics of a branch conduit. A tool can install plugs and/or fittings into the branch conduits. A linkage can connect a tool to a robotic tractor so that the connected elements can navigate through a main pipe. A visualization system can aid in aligning a robot with a branch conduit. Height-adjustable braces can support robotic tools in a pipe. A plug can include integrated locating features and/or movable parts that enable expanding the plug to seal with the branch conduit.
