UNDERGROUND PIPE REPAIR AND PROTECTION SYSTEM
20230046762 · 2023-02-16 ·

A method and apparatus provides an enclosed pipe repair where two pipe segments extend through first and second ends of the enclosure to a volume in the enclosure housing the repair. The enclosure surrounds the repair to hopefully prevent roots from accessing the repair in many cases, and if a second problem exists, to provide access to the site of the repair through a lid in the enclosure.

REPAIR PATCH FOR PIPES
20230047757 · 2023-02-16 ·

A patch for a pipe includes a patch body that has an outer surface and an inner surface. The patch body is curved to correspond to the curvature of a pipe that may include a defect that is desired to be sealed. A plug extends from the inner surface of the patch and the plug is configured to fit within the defect while the inner surface of the patch is in contact with an outer diameter of the pipe. The patch is adhered to the pipe using a primer and an adhesive that is applied to the outer diameter of the pipe surrounding the defect, the inner surface of the patch, or to both surfaces. Attachment straps may wrap around the pipe and the patch as the adhesive sets to maintain contact between the pipe and the patch.

COATING REPAIR KIT
20230019210 · 2023-01-19 ·

A coating repair device for repairing a defect in a paint or coating by forming a repair patch around and over the defect. The repair device comprising a flexible member having an inner section peripherally surrounded by an outer section, each section having top and bottom surfaces with the bottom surface of the inner section being recessed with respect to the bottom surface of the outer section, such that when the flexible member is, in use, placed on the surface of a coating to be repaired it defines a cavity with the surface. An injection through-hole extends between a top and bottom surface of the device for the introduction of repair material into the cavity, in use, and one or more relief through-holes extend between the bottom and top surfaces of the device through which, in use, displaced air or surplus repair material may flow out of the cavity.

Pipe that is Friction Forge Bonded to a Ladder Support through a Stud and a Bracket

In some implementations, an apparatus comprises a pipe, a stud that is forge-welded to the pipe, creating a forge-welded stud, a bracket that is operably coupled to the forge-welded stud, and a ladder support operably coupled to the bracket.

Repair of active leaks in industrial systems using cold spray

A method of repairing an active leak in embodiments of the present invention may include one or more of the following steps: (a) identifying the active leak on a pipe structure, tank or pressure vessel, (b) setting cold spray system settings to repair the pipe structure, (c) administering pressurized gas and metal powder to an active pipe leak, (d) identifying any potential hazards surrounding the active pipe leak, (e) eliminating and/or reducing the potential hazards surround the active pipe leak, (f) inserting a wedge within an active leak pipe hole, (g) ceasing administration of pressurized gas and metal powder to the active pipe leak when it appears sealed, (h) verifying the active pipe leak is sealed, and (i) re-administering the pressurized gas and the metal powder to the active leak is the active leak is not fully sealed.
