ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE MITIGATION DEVICE
This disclosure provides electrostatic discharge mitigation devices. In one or more embodiments, the electrostatic discharge mitigation device is an electrically conductive insert to transfer static charge from electrically conductive polymer tubing to an electrically conductive polymer operative component.
IDENTIFYING SUBTERRANEAN STRUCTURES USING AMORPHOUS METAL MARKERS
Disclosed are methods and apparatus for identifying non-metallic subterranean structures using amorphous metal markers associated with the structures. Some examples will include the amorphous metal in the form of one or more sections of an amorphous metal foil within a protective enclosure sufficient to physically isolate the amorphous metal foil from the surrounding Earth. The amorphous metal foil and enclosure may be in the form of a tape which either will be secured to, or placed proximate the subterranean structure, which may be, for example, a pipe or conduit, or other non-metallic structure.
CONDUIT COMPONENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING DEMAND-COMPATIBLY DIMENSIONED INTEGRATED ELECTRICAL LEADS
A motor-vehicle conduit component encompassing an inherently rigid conduit structure having a conduit wall that surrounds a fluid-carrying volume embodied for the passage of a fluid along a virtual conduit path; the virtual conduit path notionally penetrating centrally through the fluid-carrying volume; a plurality of electrical conductors being arranged on and/or in the conduit wall, each electrical conductor of which is electrically conductively contactable from outside the conduit component at least at a first contact location and at a second contact location arranged with a spacing along the conduit path from the first contact location; the conduit structure being inherently rigid, and the plurality of electrical conductors having a first conductor group constituting a power conductor group and having a lower length-related resistance, and a second conductor group constituting a signal conductor group and having a higher length-related resistance.
FIBRE REINFORCED POLYMER COMPOSITE PIPES
A fiber reinforced polymer composite pipe includes first and second ends and defines a central axis running in a longitudinal direction from the first end to the second end, and the pipe including at least one non-linear portion along the central axis between the first end and the second end. A first material extends continuously from the first end to the second end, the first material being a fiber reinforced polymer material comprising fiber reinforcement in a polymer matrix and having an electrical resistivity determined by an electrically conductive fiber reinforcement and/or an electrically conductive additive in the polymer matrix; and a second material arranged at the at least one non-linear portion and extending discontinuously between the first end and the second end, and has an elastic modulus greater than the elastic modulus of the first material in the longitudinal direction.

Composite pipe assembly
A pipe assembly comprising a composite pipe, and end connector provided at an end of the pipe, and means for providing a visual indication of impact damage to the pipe, the means for providing a visual indication of impact damage to the pipe comprising a thin sleeve mounted around, but spaced from, a pipe body of the composite pipe, whereby at each end of the pipe body, the pipe body, the sleeve and the end connector are preferably sealingly fitted together, and wherein the sleeve is configured to provide a visual indication indicative of an impact acting on the sleeve even if the impact does not reach the pipe body.
Composite fluid transfer conduit
A fluid transfer conduit comprising: an electrically conductive tube of fibre reinforced polymer composite material which has an electrically conductive outer surface and an electrically conductive inner surface; and on at least one axial end of said conduit, a non-electrically-conductive band formed on either the outer surface or the inner surface of the electrically conductive tube. Forming a non-electrically conductive band on the end of the conduit electrically isolates the electrically conductive outer surface of the conduit from the electrically conductive metal socket into which it is to be inserted.
DISSIPATIVE PERISTALTIC PUMP TUBING
A dissipative peristaltic pump tube includes a dissipative layer including a thermoplastic elastomer and an anti-static additive, wherein the surface resistivity of the dissipative peristaltic pump tube is at least about 10.sup.6 ohm/square. Further included is a peristaltic pump that includes the dissipative peristaltic pump tube.
FUEL LINE, CONNECTION PIECE AND FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
A fuel line for use in a fuel-carrying vehicle designed as a one-piece multi-chamber line having at least two separate fuel-carrying lines each forming a chamber. A first chamber carries fuel in a first flow direction and a second chamber carries fuel in the first or a second flow direction. Also proposed is a correspondingly adapted connection piece for joining to such a multi-chamber line.
Hybrid fluid circulation and signal transmission device
A fluid circulation device having at least one fluid circulation tube, a first coupling sealingly coupled to a first end of the tube and a second coupling sealingly coupled to a second end of the tube in such a way as to allow the circulation of fluid between said two couplings via the tube. The device further has separate electronic elements. The tube has at least one conductor track extending along an outer surface of the tube. The track is suitable for transmitting at least one signal and arranged to engage with the abovementioned electronic elements.
