CRUDE DRIP CONTAINER
20170268316 · 2017-09-21 ·

The crude oil container has a first container and a second container securely fastened around the exterior of a surface casing of a conventional surface oil well. The crude oil container has a left container and a right container, each having a bottom and walls forming a volume for storage of leaked crude oil. The left and right containers each has a well side with a well receiver surface located between mounting surfaces. The mounting surfaces of the left container are sized to mount flush against the mounting surfaces of the right container. Once so mounted, the surface casing of the oil well is held firmly within the well receiver surface of the left container and the right container such that any crude leaked from the oil well will drip into the left container storage volume and/or right container storage volume of the crude oil container.

Methods for protecting a ground surface from exposure to material that may be spilled from or leak from one or more containers

Methods for protecting a ground surface from exposure to material that may be spilled from or leak from one or more containers, which includes setting up a portable spill containment system that includes at least one grate for supporting the one or more containers. The grate includes a plurality of drain holes. The portable spill containment system includes a flexible bag configured to contain spills or leakage from the one or more containers that pass through the drain holes of the grate. In one embodiment, the portable spill containment system includes a plurality of pedestals that support the at least one grate. In another embodiment, the portable spill containment system includes an interconnected grid structure formed of separate and distinct spaced apart beams.

SELF-ADHERING COMPRESSIBLE CONTAINMENT BERM DEVICES

Compressible fluid-impermeable berm devices that self-adhere to surfaces such as ground, pavement and floors are disclosed. The compressible containment berm devices include one or more compressible containment wall sections formed from a flexible shell and a compressible filler material. A pre-applied adhesive layer at least partially covers the underside of each compressible containment wall, and is used to adhere and seal the containment wall to the containment surface. Corner joints may be used to connect the compressible containment wall sections together to thereby form the berm devices with a closed perimeter that contains leaks and spills. The compressible fluid-permeable berm devices can be easily removed or repositioned after use leaving little or no adhesive residue.

DISPOSABLE OIL CHANGE KIT

A disposable liquid disposal tool is provided for collecting liquids and for changing engine oil or other hydrocarbon containing products whereby the liquid, spent oil, or hydrocarbon is encapsulated in a non-biodegradable substance rendering the kit safe for disposal in a non-hazard or controlled substance landfill. A disposable container insert tray may be composed of rows separating conical shaped depressions that are used to channel the liquid to all levels of the container so that liquids can be exposed to the maximum volume of the non-biodegradable substance for total encapsulation. In embodiments, the top of the liquid disposal container may be covered with an open weave fabric material that acts as a diffuser whereby the liquid materials are spread more equally throughout the confines of the container and on to the surface of the tray insert.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CLEARING VEHICLE ACCIDENTS

A method of transporting a vehicle that has a ruptured fluid container from an accident includes affixing a fluid absorbent diaper to the vehicle at the location of the ruptured fluid container. The diaper has an absorbent planar member being at least about half the size of the vehicle undercarriage and a plurality of spaced bungee straps extending from edge portions of the member. The vehicle can then be transported and/or stored without risk of spillage of hydrocarbon fluid or battery acid.

Fluid catchment assembly

A fluid catchment assembly for capturing fluids leaking from an internal combustion engine includes an oil pan structured to fit over a factory installed oil pan of an internal combustion engine thereby facilitating the oil pan to capture fluids that leak from the internal combustion engine. A sight glass is fluidly integrated into the oil pan thereby facilitating the sight glass to visually display a fluid level in the oil pan. A plug is insertable into the drain for closing the drain and a pair of attachments is each attached between the internal combustion engine and the oil pan. Each of the attachments releasably retains the oil pan on the internal combustion engine.

Collapsible containment berm

A conventional utility tray or mat is typically a solid object of hard plastic or metal. The present invention is a flexible tray or mat object, permitting the tray or mat to be form fitted to the enclosure or container, and removed by being folded or rolled up, so as to enable effortless removal of the mat or tray, while continuing to contain any objects or fluids that were within or on the tray or mat. Additionally, even when placed on a non enclosed solid surface, the flexible character of the invention allows it to be folded or rolled up and removed, while continuing to contain any objects or fluids that were within or on the tray or mat.

SPILL CONTAINMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A spillage containment system is provided. The spillage containment system is designed to receive heavy equipment, e.g., for stowage, and to catch and contain any liquid or other debris that the heavy equipment may leak (e.g., oil or other environmentally harmful chemicals). The system includes a base large enough to receive the heavy equipment, and left, right, and back side walls. The system also includes a front drive-over device including an upward ramp opposing a downward ramp. The heavy equipment may drive over the drive-over device to be placed on the base. The drive-over device, and the left, right, and back sidewalls define a sealed inner volume within which the heavy equipment may be stowed.
