A removable fluid capturing system adapted for installation onto a support structure/frame located under an oil rig catwalk, said fluid capturing system comprising: an elongated trough adapted for insertion under an aperture located on said catwalk; means to secure said trough to structure of the catwalk wherein, upon use, the system is capable of collected fluid seeping from removed pipes through said aperture and directing the fluid to a catchment basin located at a position proximate said second end of the trough. Also disclosed are methods using such system.

INFLATABLE CONTAINMENT TANK

A rapid deployment containment tank includes an inflatable container and a self-contained compressed gas source. The container defines a liquid chamber and an open top through which a liquid passes into the liquid chamber. The container is shiftable between a deflated configuration and an inflated configuration. The container includes a flexible base wall and a flexible sidewall cooperating to define the liquid chamber. The sidewall projects from the base wall along an interface and includes an air chamber. The air chamber includes a plurality of tubular columns spaced apart along the interface. The compressed gas source is coupled to the container and is fluidly connected to the air chamber to supply a compressed gas for inflating the container. The tubular columns are fillable with the compressed gas to cause the sidewall to lift upwardly from the base wall, as the container shifts from the deflated configuration to the inflated configuration.

Garage Floor Protector Assembly
20230063874 · 2023-03-02 ·

A garage floor protector assembly for inhibiting a floor of a garage from getting dirty includes a pan that is positionable on a floor of a garage. The pan has dimensions sufficient to accommodate a passenger vehicle to facilitate the passenger vehicle to park on the pan. The pan is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to inhibit dirt and fluid on the passenger vehicle from collecting on the floor of the garage. A plurality of poles is each insertable into a respective one of the marker points to facilitate a visual reference for a driver of the passenger vehicle that is parking on the pad.

Expandable engine fluid catcher
11643951 · 2023-05-09 ·

An expandable engine fluid catcher that is configured to attach to an engine fluid filter, such as an oil filter, and catch engine fluid as the fluid filter is removed from the engine. An engine may be part of a vehicle and the engine fluid filter may be an oil filter. An expandable engine fluid catcher has a retainer portion having a retainer band that is secured around the engine fluid filter. Most engine fluid filters are cylindrical in shape and therefore a band, and in particular an elastic band, may be used to attach the expandable engine fluid catcher to the fluid filter. A pleated portion of the expandable engine fluid catcher has a plurality of pleats that extend from the retainer band upward to an expandable end that can be flared out, or expanded, to provide a larger diameter for catching engine fluid therein.

LEAK CATCHING DEVICE
20170370525 · 2017-12-28 ·

A leak catching apparatus is provided. The leak catching apparatus may include a plate having a first section, a center section, and a second section, wherein the first section is non-coplanar with the second section; an absorbent material housed on the first section; one or more absorbent material attachments coupled to the first section to secure the absorbent material to the first section; and one or more plate attachments coupled to the first section and the second section, wherein the one or more plate attachments temporarily secures the first section and the second section to a sealed system that contains liquid.

Portable containment system for hazardous or other materials
09828173 · 2017-11-28 · ·

A method includes wrapping one or more pieces of fabric around at least one piece of shape memory material. The method also includes attaching outer edges of the one or more pieces of fabric to other portions of the one or more pieces of fabric. The method further includes depositing liquid-impervious material onto the one or more pieces of fabric to form free-standing flexible walls and a floor of a containment structure. The floor is formed seamlessly with the walls. The wrapping could include attaching a bottom of the at least one piece of shape memory material to the one or more pieces of fabric at locations spaced apart from the outer edges of the one or more pieces of fabric. The wrapping could also include attaching sides of the at least one piece of shape memory material to the one or more pieces of fabric.

Engine system

In a cogeneration device, a space is formed on a base member that supports an engine and an electric power generator in order to store leakages from the engine in the space. A panel-fixing bracket is provided outside the storage space, at a predetermined distance from a vertical wall section forming a vertical wall of the storage space. A panel, which is a part of a package, is bolted and fixed to the bracket. This structure enables each panel to be fixed to the base member while preventing the leakages stored in the storage space from leaking out.

Fluid containment apparatuses and wall supports for fluid containment apparatuses

A fluid containment apparatus with a floor and a side wall is provided. A wall support is included that supports the side wall and can be moved between a supporting position and a collapsed position. The side wall is movable from a containment position to a collapsed state to allow access for vehicles or other objects to the floor. The wall support and side wall are subsequently movable back to their containment and supporting positions.

Composite drain pan

In some examples, a drain pan comprises a composite material forming a reservoir and a drain. The composite material comprises a polymeric resin and a reinforcing fiber. The reservoir is to catch a liquid from an engine and to support a step load. The drain is to drain the liquid from the reservoir. In some examples, a method comprises attaching a drain pan to an aircraft proximate an engine. The drain pan comprises a composite material forming a reservoir and a drain. The method further comprises catching a liquid from the engine in the reservoir of the drain pan and draining the liquid from the reservoir through the drain. In addition, the method comprises supporting a step load on the reservoir of the drain pan.
