Sensor device and sensing method

A sensor device determines measured values of a property of a fluid, in particular of a gas, in a cavity of a gas turbine engine having a duct for carrying the fluid from the cavity to a sensor element. A data processing device is coupled to the sensor element and processes the measured values. The data processing device has a device for detecting changes in the measured values with respect to time, and an evaluation device, by which the changes in the measured values with respect to time can be detected. If there is a deviation in the changes in the measured values with respect to time from a predefined criterion, a signal relating to an at least partial blockage of the at least one inlet duct can be output. A measurement method is also disclosed.

A data capture device comprises a measurement apparatus configured to measure one or more parameters related to the delivery process, such as a mass flow rate of the fluid through the bunker line or a density or a temperature of the fluid. A measurement apparatus being configured to generate an electronic record that can be stored in a memory. The system further includes a private network to provide a point-to-point wireless link between the supplying marine vessel and the receiving marine vessel. The client device is configured to generate a dashboard configured to present the electronic record to the first and second users and to accept an electronic signature of each of the first and second users.

Methods and systems for a medical gas delivery module

Various methods and systems are provided for controlling a supply of medical gas to a gas delivery system, such as an anesthesia machine, via a medical gas delivery module. In one example, a method includes supplying a medical gas from a pipeline gas supply source to a gas delivery system via a first conduit, measuring a quality of the medical gas in the first conduit, comparing the measured quality to an allowable range, switching to an alternative gas supply source for supplying the medical gas to the gas delivery system and communicating a pipeline gas supply fault in response to the measured quality being outside of the allowable range, and continuing supplying the medical gas to the gas delivery system from the pipeline gas supply source in response to the measured quality being inside of the allowable range.

Various methods and systems are provided for controlling a supply of medical gas to a gas delivery system, such as an anesthesia machine, via a medical gas delivery module. Flow rate estimation of a fluent solid material in a generally horizontal pipe

Apparatus is provided for estimating a flow rate of a fluent solid material in a generally horizontal pipe having a movable transportation element such as an auger in the pipe for transporting the material along the pipe including distance sensors mounted in the pipe in an upper part of the pipe and arranged to detect the distance of the material in a lower part of the pipe from the sensor. Another sensor is provided to detect the rate of movement of the transportation element for example by detecting the metal of the auger flight. The output from the sensors is fed to a control system for analyzing the output signals from the sensors over time to provide the estimate of flow rate. The sensors can be mounted in a pressurized enclosure to prevent escape of dust though openings for the sensors.

The system includes a hydrogen delivery line made from metallic or non-metallic pipe that may be placed inside a safety pipe such that a channel is formed between an exterior of the hydrogen delivery line and an interior of the safety pipe. A sweeper gas or liquid may be injected into the channel to purge any hydrogen that might escape from the hydrogen delivery line, and one or more sensors may be used to detect and avoid the presence of an unacceptable level of hydrogen, or to stop the flow of hydrogen and remediate the problem well before a safety or environmental risk can occur.

HYDROGEN TRANSPORT, DISTRIBUTION AND STORAGE SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS

A system uses existing pipelines, e.g., natural gas, oil, etc., to transport hydrogen to one or more distribution points. The disclosed hydrogen distribution system enables use of water, sewer, storm drain and other existing pipelines for local distribution. Hydrogen is produced from an energy source at a producing location. A safety pipe is located inside an existing pipeline configured to carry a first product and a hydrogen delivery line, configured to carry hydrogen, is placed inside the safety pipe such that a channel is formed between an exterior of the hydrogen delivery line and an interior of the safety pipe. Hydrogen is injected into the hydrogen delivery line and a sweeper gas is injected into the channel to purge any hydrogen that might be leaking from the hydrogen delivery line.
