The reflective surface intersects a major axis of the spheroidal surface. A value obtained by dividing a first distance, which is a distance between the first focal point and the second focal point, by a second distance, which is a distance between the first focal point and an intersection point of the reflective surface and the major axis, is 7 or greater.

Disclosed are a headlamp optical element, a vehicle lamp module comprising the headlamp optical element, a vehicle lamp, and a vehicle. The headlamp optical element comprises a light collecting portion, a first light emitting portion and a reflecting portion, or comprises the light collecting portion, the first light emitting portion, the reflecting portion and a second light emitting portion. The light collecting portion can converge the incident light and emit the light via the first light emitting portion, with some of the light directly emitted to the second light emitting portion, and the rest of the light being reflected by the reflecting portion and then emitted to the second light emitting portion. The reflecting portion is connected to the lower portion of the first light emitting portion, with a lower beam cut-off line structure being formed at the other end thereof, or the reflecting portion is connected to the upper portion of the first light emitting portion, with a high beam cut-off line structure being formed at the other end thereof. The light emitting surface of the first light emitting portion is formed of multiple step surfaces with segment differences or is a single curved surface.

The reflector that includes the plurality of reflective guide walls defines at least one space through which the light having the converted wavelength emitted by the phosphor is guided by the plurality of reflective guide walls.

The second focal length is greater than the first focal length. An illuminated portion of the first image mask, has a shape of at least a first portion of an overall light distribution of the headlight, and a portion of the second image masks, has a shape of a central portion of the overall light distribution of the headlight.

When an external sensor detects the target object, the lamp control unit adjusts the high beam light distribution pattern and the side light distribution pattern so that at least the second region is irradiated with light.

When the vehicle body is in a cornering state, the controller acquires inclination information of the vehicle body, determines whether there is a second region that does not exceed a reference line, based on the inclination information, and when determining that there is the second region, irradiates the second region with the light even when the object is included in the second region.

Lamp unit

A lamp unit includes a light source including a plurality of light emitting elements provided in a common substrate; a projection lens that projects light emitted from the light source toward a front of the lamp unit to form a required light distribution pattern; and a light-transmitting body disposed between the light source and the projection lens and that forms a projection image by controlling transmission of light emitted from the light source. The light transmitting body includes a plurality of incident portions that causes light emitted from each of the plurality of light emitting elements to be incident, and the light transmitting body and the substrate are supported by a lens holder that supports the projection lens.
