A flashlight having a housing, a light-end assembly, and a user interface. The light-end assembly, which may be coupled to an end of the housing, may comprise a flexible light component having a proximal end and a distal end. A first plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) may be distributed on the first flexible light component between the proximal end and the distal end. The flexible light component may include a flexible, semi-rigid structure to maintain the flexible light component in a desired shape or position.

A sleeve for decorative lighting helps prevent tangled lighting wires. The sleeve has clamps at each end that clamp the lighting wires. The sleeve is flexible and may be elastic. The sleeve may be a light diffuser so that the decorative lighting can be used while in the sleeve. A decorative lighting string has retractable lights and may be at least stored in the sleeve.

A resin molded member for a vehicle lamp includes a first resin molded part, a second resin molded part, a bent resin molded part bent and molded to have a groove section between the first resin molded part and the second resin molded part, and a rib wall that is disposed inside the groove section and that is configured to connect between a first inclined wall and a second inclined wall which form the groove section of the bent resin molded part, wherein the rib wall is formed at a position overlapping with a gate mark which is formed on at least one of the first inclined wall and the second inclined wall through injection molding.

A lighting device includes a housing that supports a flexible light assembly and can be operated in multiple configurations. The housing includes a cup-shaped opaque stator and light transmissive rotor that rotates relative to the stator. The rotor includes a spool upon which the flexible light assembly can be wound. The light source is configurable between a retracted configuration in which the flexible light assembly resides in the housing and light emitted by the flexible light assembly is transmitted through the rotor, and an extended configuration in which a portion of the flexible light assembly resides outside the housing. In the extended configuration, a portion of light emitted from the flexible light assembly is transmitted through the rotor and another portion of light emitted from the flexible light assembly originates outside the housing.

Solar-powered lighting devices that may be portable and/or collapsible are described. The devices may include a housing including a first wall, a second wall, and one or more side walls between the first wall and the second wall, at least one solar panel to generate solar energy, and a rechargeable battery to store the solar energy generated. The devices may include a plurality of operating modes for controlling lights within the housing, and a microprocessor for controlling the operating modes.

Solar-powered lighting devices that may be portable and/or collapsible are described. The devices may include a housing including a first wall, a second wall, and one or more side walls between the first wall and the second wall, at least one solar panel to generate solar energy, and a rechargeable battery to store the solar energy generated. Self-contained devices, systems and methods for housing holiday lights in the form of icicles, and the like, in self-contained boxes that can easily be mounted and removed around house windows and eaves. The lights can be retractable and extendable downward from the boxes, and the lights can be remotely controlled by smart phones and the like. The boxes can have displays for holiday messages as well as speakers for playing music and messages. Another embodiment can include a drop down version where the lights drop down from a housing. Another version can include a fold out version where a support frame having upwardly protruding lights is rotated so that the lights extend below the housing.

Lighting devices are described and may include a housing, a solar panel, and at least one speaker. The housing may include a cover and a base coupled to the cover. The lighting device may also include at least one rechargeable battery, a microprocessor, and a plurality of light sources, such as LEDs, configured to emit light towards the cover. The solar panel, the rechargeable battery, the microprocessor, the speaker, and the plurality of light sources may be in electronic communication with one another. Further, for example, the microprocessor may be configured to control at least one operating mode of the plurality of light sources and at least one operating mode of the speaker.
