LED TUBE LAMP
An LED tube lamp includes a first and second members and a connection member. Each of the first and second members includes lighting part and an end part. Each lighting part includes LED light strip. The connection member includes electrical connection portions and joining portions for the first and second members. The connection member connects the first member with the second member by the joining portions and the electrical connection portions and makes the first member substantially coaxial to the second member.
Spherical lighting device
A lighting device including: a source emitting a light cone; an electronic control circuit; a wall defining an enclosure including a first area through which the light cone passes, and a second area complementary to the first area; and a diffuser directing part of the light by backscattering towards the second area. The diffuser includes a first part oriented perpendicular to the axis of revolution of the light cone and forming a first divergent lens, and a second part forming a second divergent lens having a shape of a flared truncated cone with its axis of revolution parallel to the axis of revolution of the light cone, in which a larger diameter end is closest to the light source and a smaller diameter end is adjacent to the first part and surrounds the first part.
IMPROVED ILLUMINATION DEVICE
An illumination device, which comprises a light source and a battery to power the light source, provides improved light output without the need for complicated and therefore expensive optical arrangements by including a nonimaging light guide which collimates and optionally diffuses light emitted by the light source. In a particular embodiment of the invention these improvements are implemented in a multipurpose solar light which includes a solar panel, wherein the battery stores energy generated by the solar panel. The illumination device may comprise a casing having a front casing portion and a rear casing portion, wherein the nonimaging light guide is integrally formed with the front casing portion. The nonimaging light guide may have a shape comprising two conical frusta. Furthermore, the nonimaging light guide may comprise a recess in which the light source is located, the recess being larger than the light source such that there is a gap which permits airflow and in turn removal of heat from the light source as well as improved optical coupling.
Laser nightlight
A laser nightlight is disclosed. A laser nightlight includes a base, an electrical prong adapted to be inserted into an electrical outlet wherein the electrical prong is secured to and projects from the base; and a power supply circuit coupled to the electrical prong and contained within the base. A laser mounted within the base and coupled to the power supply circuit is adapted to produce a laser beam through an output. A lens is secured to the base and is positioned to cover the output of the laser. The output of the laser is pointed at a spot on the lens, and a portion of the lens at the spot may be opaque, faceted or cloudy, or may comprise a diffuser. A portion of the lens where the output of the laser points may contain an image and a light pattern corresponding to the image may be produced when the laser beam illuminates the image. The lens may be formed from shatterproof glass, clear glass or quartz. The lens may be sealed to the base. The lens may have a cylindrical length and the output of the laser may be aligned with the lens to produce the laser beam down a central axis of the lens. The laser may produce a red or green laser beam.
