SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A SHOW EFFECT FOR AN ATTRACTION SYSTEM
A show effect system may include a plasma tube configured to generate an electric arc within the plasma tube and a light strip extending along the plasma tube. The light strip may include a plurality of light emitters configured to output light through the plasma tube and backlight the electric arc generated by the plasma tube.
POULTRY FEEDER LIGHT AND LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A lighting system for a poultry feeding house includes a wire harness attachable to an existing feeding house shocker wire or feed auger pipe and a lighting fixture positioned beneath the wire harness and positionable on the feed auger pipe. A wire connection secured to the wire harness encapsulates wire leads to power and control the lighting fixture.
LED lighting system and installation methods
A lighting system includes an LED downlight mountable to a ceiling, a driver, and an insulation displacement connector (IDC). Light from the downlight can be faced downward to project light or upward to reflect light off of the ceiling. The driver has an input with a first voltage and an output with a second voltage, the second voltage being lower than the first and being provided through a wire system extending from the LED driver. The IDC connects the downlight to the wire system. The lighting system can be changed from a first to a second configuration by at least one of adding an additional downlight using a corresponding IDC or removing an existing downlight using a corresponding IDC. The second configuration does not significantly affect a desired output range of light from any downlight or any LED circuit of any downlight that remains or preexists from the first configuration.
Air flow distribution system for data center server racks
An air flow distribution system for cooling server racks includes at least one server rack partially defining a hot aisle and a cold aisle, a first air foil disposed above the server rack, and a second air foil disposed above the first air foil. The first air foil and the second air foil are configured to receive air from the hot aisle, and to form turbulent wake patterns in the cold aisle partially defined by the server rack. The air flow distribution system may include a convex ceiling member above the second air foil. A corresponding method includes causing air to be directed between a first air foil disposed above a server rack and a second air foil disposed above the first air foil to form turbulent wake patterns in the cold aisle. An electrical enclosure assembly includes a receptacle and a cover member configured as an air foil.
Apparatuses and methods for changing lighting fixture dimensions
A lighting fixture configured to expand and collapse, and methods for expanding and collapsing a light fixture are disclosed. Embodiments of the lighting fixture include a lighting fixture with a movable section that collapses into at least one cavity in a base housing for storage and shipment, and extends from the cavity for operation. In the collapsed configuration the lighting fixture fits into a smaller container than when the lighting fixture is in the expanded configuration. In some embodiments a locking member locks the movable section into its extended position and can be retracted by a user by manually disengaging the locking member. Accessories and extenders that can be attached to the lighting fixture can be stored in the one or more cavities into which the movable section is stowed in the collapsed configuration.
System and method for advanced horticultural lighting
Embodiments can provide a system and method of light validation in a lighting device, comprising communicating setpoint to a lighting device comprising a plurality of emitters; generating control signals for the plurality of emitters in response to the setpoint; calculating an estimate of the intensity and spectral power distribution of the composite radiant flux emitted by the lighting device through computing the control signals relative to lifetime performance data and a reference dataset. Embodiments can further provide a system and method for quality control and reporting, comprising transmitting, via a lighting device, validation signals comprising operating conditions, initial measurements, lifetime operating data, reference datasets, and spectrum and intensity estimates, and a device identifier to a central controller; receiving, via the central controller, one or more condition measurements comprising light measurements, temperature measurements, humidity measurements, moisture measurements, and nutrient chemistry measurements, and device identifiers from one or more light sensing devices and growth condition sensors.
Systems and methods for underwater lighting
An underwater lighting system includes a light housing. The light housing includes a weighted base having a bottom surface with a bottom edge and a cover. The cover and the weighted base cooperate to define a cover interior. The cover interior is waterproof. The light housing also includes a light source positioned within the cover interior. The underwater lighting system is configured to prevent a fishing lure or cast net from snagging on the underwater lighting system.
Zayne Light
A cube for use in a restaurant allowing patrons to more easily notify their server they are in need of something. The cube is equipped with a lighting mechanism that adjusts colors that represent the status of the patrons dining. The cube contains a shell that has an upper surface and lower surface separated by an indent. The cube has a pair of switches that reside within a divot slightly larger in size that the switch. The charging station for the cube has a dock, a layer, and a power supply. The dock has a base equipped with a plurality of dock base towers, each having a plurality of dock tower connections. The dock base has a plurality of base supports each having a central plug. The layer also has layer connection towers each equipped with layer tower connections allowing the layer to function in tandem with the dock base.
Embeddable Module for High Output Led
In one aspect, a light module is disclosed, which includes a housing providing a hollow chamber extending from a proximal end to a distal end, and a lens positioned in the hollow chamber, where the lens has a lens body comprising an input surface for receiving light from a light source and an output surface through which light exits the lens body, said lens further comprising a collar at least partially encircling said lens body. The light module further includes at least one shoulder on which the lens collar can be seated for positioning the lens within the housing. A light source, e.g., an LED, is coupled to the hollow chamber, e.g., at its proximal end, for providing light to the lens. In some embodiments, an optical window is disposed in the hollow chamber and is optically coupled to the output surface of the lens such that the light exiting the lens passes through the optical window before exiting the light module. In some embodiments, the shoulder can be formed as part of the housing. In other embodiments, the shoulder can be provided by a sleeve disposed in the module's housing.
