Flare Tips
A center flare tip assembly (16) and plenum flare tip assembly (18) with arms (20), having the outside of the center flare tip assembly (16), both inside and outside of the tips (18), the outside of the arms (20), and/or adjacent features of the flare tip (12) are covered with a high emissivity thermal layer (14) with an emissivity greater than 0.85. This reduces flare metal temperatures by thirty percent (30%) or greater, and increases flare life by two (2) to five (5) times current life.

PASSIVELY COOLED ALUMINUM BARBECUE PIT
A powder coated aluminum barbecue pit burner that burns gas in the same way that stainless steel burner tubes do, but last longer and do not rust. The use of powder coated aluminum makes the burner according to the present invention corrosion resistant. Additionally, the powder coated aluminum burner of the present invention also contain a heat sink element that prevents the temperature of the tubes from getting too high. Controlling temperature and using powder coated aluminum burners, instead of stainless steel, ensures that the burner will last longer. Another embodiment utilizes a water cooled system in connection with the heat sink element.

One object of the present invention is to provide a burner which makes it possible to prevent blockage and damage of the nozzle by the molten metal and the slag, and the present invention provides a burner including a combustion supporting gas supply passage which is configured to supply a combustion supporting gas toward a combustion supporting gas outlet provided at the center of the tip end side; a fuel supply passage which is configured to supply a fuel toward a fuel ejection outlet provided around the combustion supporting gas outlet; and a protective nozzle provided from a position surrounding a periphery of the fuel ejection outlet so as to project forward beyond the tip end surface at which the combustion supporting gas ejection outlet and the fuel ejection outlet are provided; wherein the combustion supporting gas supply passage includes a Laval nozzle, and a diameter-enlarged nozzle of which a diameter gradually increases from the tip end of the Laval nozzle toward the combustion supporting gas ejection outlet, and the protective nozzle has a shape which is gradually reduced in diameter forward from the tip end surface.

SPARKLESS IGNITERS AND METHODS FOR PILOT IGNITION
Sparkless igniters for pilot services comprising hot surface igniter elements, and methods for operating these igniters without the use of flame rods or thermocouples. The electrical resistance of the hot surface igniter element is measured and used to control the operation of the igniters using a suitable burner management system. The measured electrical resistance may also be manipulated to yield a control parameter for use in the burner management system. The igniters are designed to prevent quenching of the hot surface elements by the fuel-air mixture. The igniters optionally permit easy swap out of hot surface igniter elements.

Submerged combustion burners having a burner body, a burner tip connected thereto. Submerged combustion melters including the burners and methods of using them to produce molten glass. The burner body has an external conduit and first and second internal conduits substantially concentric therewith, forming first and second annuli for passing a cooling fluid therethrough. The burner tip body is connected to the burner body at ends of the external and second internal conduits. The burner tip includes a generally central flow passage for a combustible mixture, the flow passage defined by an inner wall of the burner tip. The burner tip includes a crown portion defining a circumferential concavity.

The present invention discloses a burner cap. The burner cap comprises a main body (1) with an annular wall (10), a plurality of first main fire holes (11) is defined on the upper layer, and a plurality of second main fire holes (12) is defined on the lower layer; the annular wall (10) has an annular groove (2), and the annular wall (10) also has a fire holding channel (21), which connects to the annular groove (2) and connects to the first main fire holes (11), and/or the second main fire holes (12). So that the burner cap can significantly improve the combustion efficiency of the gas range while holding the flame from the first and second main fire holes.
