A universally applicable regulation function is provided for a gas-operated heating device with more than one burner. The function facilitates start-up, regulation, and deactivation processes. A first valve and a second valve are connected together in a gas-tight manner. The first valve has an ignition lock which closes the main gas flow in the event of an ignition, a thermoelectric ignition fuse, a thermostat, and optionally an integrated pressure regulator. The start-up of the first valve allows the activation and deactivation of the gas flow. The first valve has two gas outlets, a first outlet for connecting the second valve, wherein the first outlet is located downstream of the ignition fuse and the optional pressure regulator and upstream of the thermostat, and a second outlet downstream of the thermostat, the second outlet leading to a first burner. The second valve is a thermostat. The first outlet of the first valve is connected to the inlet of the second valve, and the outlet of the second valve is connected to a second burner.

Pneumatic actuating injet valve with delayed shutoff

An injet for a gas burner includes a first gas orifice and a second gas orifice. An injet body defines an air passage and a gas passage. The first and second gas orifices are mounted to the injet body. A pneumatically actuated gas valve blocks a flow of gaseous fuel through the gas passage to the second gas orifice in a closed configuration. The pneumatically actuated gas valve is configured to adjust from the closed configuration to an open configuration in response to a flow of air through the air passage. A flow restriction body is disposed upstream of the pneumatically actuated gas valve. The flow restriction body defines a through hole via which air is flowable to pneumatically actuated gas valve.

Method and apparatus for controlling operation of gas range top burners for cooking

A gas range has burner head which have temperature sensing devices as a portion of the burner heads. Upon reaching a predetermined temperature, the temperatures sensing devices reduces gas flow to a bypass amount until temperature drops below to at least the predetermined temperature. Lowering the temperature in a cooking utensil below a common ignition temperature, while still allowing boiling, is an objective of many embodiments.

Stand-alone gas-fired smoker with mechanical temperature control

A stand-alone gas-fired smoker constitutes a cabinet for holding food products to be cooked. A gas burner in the bottom of the cabinet is connected to a source of flammable gas by means of a variable gas valve. The gas burner heats the cabinet and thereby cooks the food products. An oil filled temperature sensing bulb is connected by means of a capillary tube to the variable gas valve in order to modulate the gas delivered through the variable gas valve to the gas burner and thereby modulate the temperature within the cabinet. A safety/ignition valve is connected between of the gas source and the variable gas valve. The safety/ignition valve is connected to a flame sensor, and the safety/ignition valve closes if the flame sensor senses that the gas burner has been extinguished.

Gas regulator fitting

The aim is to provide a gas control valve in which the specified desired value range can be subsequently shifted easily in order to optimize the range of settable temperatures for the heating device without exceeding the device- and/or installation-specific admissible use conditions. To this end, a setting element (17) which serves to change the position of a temperature-sensitive element (8) and thus to actuate a switch for activating a valve has a threaded part (12) that is screwable into the housing (1) of the gas control valve. In this case, the two are connected together in a rotationally secure manner via a releasable locking mechanism, wherein a tubular latching part (14) that is firmly connected to the threaded part (12) is arranged between the pot-like setting element (17), partially surrounding the threaded part (12) with a recess (18), and the threaded part (12). By way of a stop element (16) that protrudes from the end side, the latching part (14) projects into a guiding contour (19) which is formed by an end-side aperture located in the setting element (17).
