An ignition device of a gas cooktop, and a gas cooktop. The ignition device of the gas cooktop includes a discharge end, a receiving end and an ignition control module. An ignition frequency generated by the ignition control module is within a range of [15 kHz, 22 kHz], a distance between the discharge end and the receiving end is within a range of [2 mm, 5 mm], and at ignition, a continuous arc is generated between the discharge end and the receiving end to ignite gas. When the ignition device of this scheme is ignited, an ignition sound is extremely low and there is no noise pollution.

HIGH-CAPACITY IGNITER
20220390108 · 2022-12-08 · ·

An improved and high capacity gas igniter for furnaces and burners. The igniter can include an igniter tip that is annular in shape and includes various holes of different sizes and angular projections distributed throughout. The igniter tip may utilize a slip-joint-like mechanism or sleeve that connects inner and outer tubes of a guide tube that allows the inner tube to slide when undergoing thermal expansion. This configuration alleviates stress from building up on the inner tube and igniter tip, preventing damage.

Spark Ignited Pilot For Gas Burner
20220381431 · 2022-12-01 ·

A spark ignited, gas fueled pilot assembly compromising a bracket and a metal gas tube extending through the bracket and having an outlet end. The gas tube is surrounded by a ceramic jacket which is of such a length as to extend beyond the outlet end of the gas tube by approximately 0.03″ such that the gas tube outlet is recessed into the ceramic jacket. The assembly further comprises a pair of ignitor electrodes carried by the bracket and arranged and located relative to the recessed gas supply tube to ignite fuel emanating therefrom.

Spark Ignition Pilot Assembly

An apparatus for lighting a burner of a heat exchanger includes a mounting plate configured to be mounted to the heat exchanger, the mounting plate including a first and second opening, a pilot ignition rod assembly installed in the first opening, the pilot ignition rod assembly including a flame ionization rod and a terminal, and a sleeve coupled to and aligned with the second opening and configured to extend substantially through a refractory material lining a combustion chamber of the heat exchanger, the sleeve being joined to a ground rod on a distal end and a gas orifice mount on a proximal end, the gas orifice mount including a gas venturi surrounded by the sleeve, wherein the sleeve is sized to extend from the mounting plate through an opening in the refractory material lining the combustion chamber, wherein the sleeve includes a sleeve opening adjacent to the gas venturi, the sleeve opening configured to allow air from the combustion chamber to the gas venturi.

FLAME THROWER PIPE ORGAN
20220358901 · 2022-11-10 ·

A micro flame effects unit (MFEU) includes a solenoid valve, an ignition coil, and a pair of electrodes. The ignition coil is to receive a voltage to create a spark between end portions of the electrodes. The solenoid valve is to receive a voltage to release gas, the spark and the gas to create a flame effect. An example flame thrower pipe organ (FTPO) includes a set of cylindrical members with a micro flame effects unit (MFEU) located within each cylindrical member. The FTPO further includes a set of keys that provide a sound when a key of the set of keys is played. A control device causes an MFEU to release a flame effect concurrent with the sound of a corresponding key being played. The FTPO may be automated with a self-playing system.

PELLET COOKING STATION AND SYSTEM FOR IGNITING PELLETS AND METHOD THEREOF

A heating system configured to employ pellets as a fuel source for cooking and configured to be initially ignited with a gas fuel. The heating system including a gas line configured to feed gas to a fire pot. The fire pot being located in a main body. The fire pot includes one or more screens to define a region within the fire pot such that the one or more screens are sized and configured to block pellets from entering the region. Further, the gas line is associated with a mixing structure configured to mix the gas fuel and oxygen together.

COMBUSTOR

A combustor includes: a housing having an annular shape of which one end side is open and of which the other end side is closed; at least one introduction portion that introduces a fuel and an oxidizing gas into the housing to generate a tubular flow; and an ignition unit that ignites the fuel introduced into the housing. The ignition unit includes a discharge electrode and a ground electrode. A space that the fuel and the oxidizing gas reach is provided between the discharge electrode and the ground electrode.

Oil and Gas Process Equipment Burner Emission Prevention Device
20220333774 · 2022-10-20 ·

An electronically controlled burner management system for oilfield process equipment. The system includes a vessel fluid temperature sensor and electronic valve for interruption of main burner fuel flow. When process equipment is retrofitted with this system total gas production is increased, reduces fugitive emissions of unburned gas, and reduces hazards. The system integrates with existing pneumatic thermostatic control, making it easy to control and can be bypassed in the event of failure.
