FIREPLACE RETROFIT CONSTRUCTION
A retrofit firebox assembly includes a frame, a floor, and sidewalls. The frame has a plurality of vertically extending spaced apart tube members to which solid masonry units are mounted. The back wall has a metal plenum member with a lower vertical portion, a lower angled portion, a central vertical portion, an upper angled portion, and an upper vertical portion, positioned to form a smooth, symmetrical bulge in the back wall extending into the firebox. The solid masonry units are positioned on their respective frame members using clips that position, align, and support the units. The metal plenum provides spaces for air to flow into the firebox between the lower vertical portion and the lower angled portion; and between the lower angled portion and the central vertical portion.

Fire pit system
The present fire pit system includes a fire pit stand including a body including a plurality of openings, wherein the walls of a fire pit body can rest upon the fire pit stand. The fire pit stand protects below surfaces (e.g., floor, ground, etc.) from high heat. The openings in the fire pit stand increase airflow. The fire pit stand fits inside the fire pit body creating a portable unit. When the fire pit is being assembled, the fire pit stand can be removed from inside the fire pit body, placed on the ground, and the fire pit body can be placed on top of the fire pit stand.

Heat reflective apparatus
A heat reflective apparatus for use on the ground adjacent to campfires. The apparatus include a plurality of separate panels. Each of the plurality of panels are configured for vertical orientation and have a top edge and an opposing bottom edge defining a height and opposing side edges defining a width. A plurality of vertically oriented hinges, with each being connected to a side edge of two adjacent panels of the plurality of panels. This allows each of the connected adjacent panels to move between a collapsed position facing the other adjacent panel and an open position in relation with the other adjacent panel. At least two of the plurality of panels have at least one ground spike secured to the bottom edges thereof. The ground spikes are configured to secure the plurality of panels to the ground.
FIREPIT HEAT DEFLECTOR
A heat deflector for a firepit includes a first fire screen, and a top assembly that reflects radiant heat. The heat deflector has an operational configuration wherein the top assembly covers the top fire screen, which is placed over a receptacle of the firepit. The heat deflector has a storage configuration wherein at least the first fire screen is stored within the receptacle.
Portable Open Flame & Charcoal Grill
A dual-purpose outdoor device that combines the benefits of a portable fire pit that allows the construction of an open fire of charcoal or wood on the ground or just above the ground, with a portable grill that allows for cooking food over a wood or charcoal fire. The device has upper and lower fire chambers, top and bottom lids, and an adjustable ancillary ring-shaped grill and grill cover. Latches on the components and lids allow the device to be closed and transported and/or to be used for storage of utensils and grilling accessories.
