Portable Stove
A portable stove for burning biomass fuels. The stove has an outer body with walls coupled together with hinges and an opening to load fuel into the stove. The stove further includes a combustion chamber with walls coupled together with hinges that fits within the outer body. The combustion chamber has an opening for loading fuel, secondary openings along upper portions of the walls, a floor with openings to permit airflow into the chamber, and upright posts along the walls to support a cooking utensil for heating. The stove also has a dam that rests on the top of the combustion chamber to direct air through the secondary openings and into the combustion chamber to improve the burning of fuel. The outer body and combustion chamber hinges permit the stove to fold for better storage and transport.
RETAINING CLIP FOR LID OR BASE OF COOKING DEVICE
The present disclosure describes a retaining clip for a Kamado-style or other cooking device that limits movement of the device's lid or base relative to a band extending at least partially about the lid or base and coupled to a mechanism that enables movement of the device's lid relative to the base. The retaining clip has a portion securable to the band at a desired location around the band's length and has portions for contacting and engaging a rim or ridge of the lid or base, as the case may be, to substantially resist movement of the band in a direction away from the rim or ridge and toward the lid's or base's edge. Multiple retaining clips may be positioned at various respective locations around the band to further or more evenly limit relative movement between the band and the device's lid or base, as the case may be.
COOKING APPARATUS
Cooking apparatus comprises an oven. The oven comprises a cooking chamber, a heated air source and two or more vents through which, in use, heated air can vent from the cooking chamber. The two or more vents comprise at least one lower vent and at least one upper vent. The at least one lower vent is provided at a lower height than the at least one upper vent. The at least one upper vent is controllable to regulate a flow of heated air therethrough.

Retaining clip for lid or base of cooking device
A retaining clip for a Kamado-style or other cooking device that limits movement of the device's lid or base relative to a band extending around the lid or base. The retaining clip couples to the band and also has portions that engage a rim or ridge of the lid or base to resist movement of the band in a direction away from the rim or ridge. Multiple retaining clips may be positioned at various locations around the band.

System having a furnace and method for operating such a system
A method of operating a plant having a furnace including at least two vertical shafts connected by an overflow duct, wherein at least one burner is arranged above the overflow duct in each case such that the burner gases therefrom flow downward in burning operation of the respective shaft. A cooling gas supply is provided beneath the overflow duct in each case such that, in combination with the operation of a burner in the burner-operated shaft, the burner gas flowing downward is deflected in the direction of the overflow duct by the cooling gas ascending in the burner-operated shaft, and a supply of cooling gas is adjusted such that the temperature of the burner charge through which the burner gas flows at least in the burner-operated shaft is kept above the deacidification temperature thereof.
