GAS HEARTH
The invention relates to a gas hearth, at least comprising a combustion chamber, gas supply means for supplying combustible gas into the combustion chamber to firebed-simulating means positioned in the combustion chamber, ignition means for igniting the combustible gas in the combustion chamber and a flue-gas discharge duct connected to the combustion chamber for discharging combustion flue gases from the combustion chamber, as well as metering means which are arranged in the combustion chamber for metering a pyrotechnical additive into the flames of the burning combustible gas during operation, wherein the metering means comprise a reservoir for the pyrotechnical additive which reservoir is provided with at least one metering opening.
LOG-LIKE BLOCK FOR A GAS BURNER AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A log-like block for a gas burner is provided. The block having a pipe with a distal part at least partially made of flexible material and associated with at least one distal end of the pipe, and a pipe proximal part associated with a proximal end of the pipe. The block further includes a passage with shape and dimensions corresponding to those of the distal part. The distal part being built-in the passage so that the distal end is closed therein and the distal part is incapable of being moved relative to the passage. The proximal part being configured to be brought into gas communication with a gas supply source. The block further comprises a pipe outlet opening formed in the pipe distal part, exposed to an exterior of the block so as to allow gas to exit the pipe through the opening.
ARTIFICIAL FIREPLACE FOR DISPLAYING AN ARTIFICIAL FIRE PATTERN
The present invention relates to a display device for an artificial fireplace, configured to display a fireplace video that at least comprises flames. The display device comprises a backlight source, which comprises a plurality of LEDs, which are disposed in an LED pattern, wherein the backlight source is configured to emit light with the LEDs, and an LCD-panel, which is configured to selectively transmit and/or modulate light from the backlight source, in order to display the fireplace video. An edge of the LED pattern thereby substantially corresponds to a flame top edge of a flame area in which the flames are imaged in the fireplace video.
Modular linear fireplace system, assemblies and methods
A linear fireplace system, assemblies, modular units, and related methods that can be installed in a modular fashion at a selected installation location so as to avoid drawbacks experienced in the prior art. The system can include modular linear units, corner units, and/or end units interconnectable to form a modular linear fireplace assembly. The system can include an alignment track system with a track member that receives alignment rails on the bottom of the modular units to axially align the interconnected units. The system can include a combustion air flow passage within the fireplace that maintains a relatively low exterior temperature of the assembly and that allows combustible and non-combustible building materials to be installed against or immediately adjacent to the top and base portions of the modular units of the assembly.
Smart glass for a fireplace
A fireplace with a smart glass panel and use of a smart glass panel in a fireplace are provided. The fireplace comprises a heating mechanism, and a smart glass panel positioned proximate to the heating mechanism. The smart glass panel comprising a transparent pane, where at least a portion of the smart glass panel has optic or thermal transmission properties that may be altered between a first state and a second state.
ORNAMENTAL-FLAME BURNER
A burner includes a plurality of end nipples and at least one jet supported by and protruding outwardly from each end nipple. The end nipples and the jets are brass. Each end nipple includes a first end that is threaded and a second end that is closed. Each end nipple includes a wall extending from the first end to the second end and including a bore extending through the first end to the second end. Each end nipple includes a threaded hole extending through the wall to the bore. The first end of the end nipple, the second end of the end nipple, and the wall of the end nipple are unitary. Each jet includes a threaded portion threadedly engaged with the threaded hole and a fuel combustion outlet spaced from the threaded portion. Each jet includes a barrel extending from the fuel combustion outlet toward the threaded portion. The barrel has a larger outer diameter than the threaded portion.
Electric Fire Apparatus and Method of Use Thereof
An electric fire apparatus (10)is provided, having an improved simulated fire effect. The electric fire apparatus (10)comprising a bed base (14a)which is at least in part light-transmissible. The electric fire apparatus (10)also has a holographic mesh element (18)as herein before defined which divides the bed base (14a)into a front bed base portion (42a)and a rear bed base portion (42b). At least one light source (50)is provided for directing light through the front and/or rear bed base portions(42a,42b).
Table Top Fire Effect Attachment
A fire effect device for holding, controlling and displaying fire and methods of attaching and mounting such a device to furniture, such as umbrella tables. The includes an internal chamber 11 which houses a fuel dispersion assembly 12 and a rigid hollow tube which may be mounted to the chamber or be of unitary construction with the chamber. The rigid hollow tube is designed to be inserted into a hole or aperture of a table, such as an umbrella hole, and connected to a gas valve and thereafter a fuel line or source, such as a propane tank. The device is attached and detached to the table with ease by i) engaging or disengaging the fuel line from the fire effect device and, ii) the simple turning of a nut.
Safe gas device providing more visible flames
A safe gas flame device providing more visible flames includes a burner having an air inlet end and a flame exit. The combustion end is configured to include a horizontal section of a fluid transporting tube. A fluid guiding device connects to the burner and includes at least one first and at least one second supporting structures disposed on opposite sides of the fluid transporting tube, a plurality of first fluid guiding members connecting and extending transversely to the at least one first supporting structure and arranged side by side along a length of the at least one first supporting structure, and a plurality of second fluid guiding members connecting and extending transversely to the at least one second supporting structure and arranged side by side along a length of the at least one second supporting structure.
FLAME SIMULATING ASSEMBLY
A flame simulating assembly including a light source, a screen having a translucent region which subjects light from the light source transmitted therethrough to diffusion and a transparent region, and a flicker element for intermittently reflecting the light from the light source toward the screen, to provide images of flames in a predetermined portion thereof. The screen includes a fringe region positioned between the translucent region and the transparent region. The fringe region includes a number of diffusing areas for diffusing the light from the light source and a number of transparent areas positioned between the diffusing areas, to at least partially provide images of flames in the diffusing areas.
