APPLIANCE
The present disclosure relates to an appliance having an input switch that receives a knock input at the front of a main body, and a transfer member connecting to the input switch that transfers vibrations caused by the knock to a sensor disposed at the rear of the main body.
APPLIANCE
In an appliance, an input switch receives a knock input at the front of a main body, and a transfer member connecting to the input switch transfers vibrations cause by the knock to a sensor disposed at the rear of the main body. Thus, even an appliance such as an oven and the like that makes it difficult to attach a sensor to a door due to high-temperature heat effectively senses a knock input.
OVEN DOOR AND OVEN COMPRISING AN OVEN DOOR
The invention relates to an oven door (10) for closing an oven cavity (2) comprising a door glass (11) being at least partially transparent for enabling a user to look into the oven cavity, wherein the door glass (11) comprises at least a first and a second glass pane (11.1, 11.2), the first glass pane (11.1) constituting the outer glass pane and said glass panes being arranged at a distance from one another, wherein an electronic transparent display (12) is arranged in the space between the first glass pane (11.1) and the second glass pane (11.2) in order to provide information to a user in front of the oven door (10) and wherein the oven door comprises heat isolation means for protecting said electronic transparent display (12) against heat radiated by the oven cavity (2).
Dynamic Recipe Control
Nutritional substance systems and methods are disclosed enabling the tracking and communication of changes in nutritional, organoleptic, and aesthetic values of nutritional substances, and further enabling the adaptive storage and adaptive conditioning of nutritional substances.
OVEN DOOR AND OVEN COMPRISING AN OVEN DOOR
The invention relates to an oven door (10) for closing an oven cavity (2) comprising a first and a second door wall element (11.1, 11.2), the first door wall element (11.1) being arranged at the outer side of the oven door (10) and comprises or is constituted by a transparent door glass, said door wall elements (11.1, 11.2) being arranged at a distance from one another, wherein an electronic display (12) is arranged in the space between the first door wall element (11.1) and the second door wall element (11.2) in order to provide information to a user in front of the oven door (10) and wherein the oven door (10) comprises an image capturing device (13), said image capturing device (13) being arranged between the first and second door wall element (11.1, 11.2) and said image capturing device (13) being coupled with the electronic display (12) in order to display the recorded images.
Oven appliance with turntable
An oven appliance includes a cabinet that defines a vertical direction. A chamber is defined within the cabinet for receipt of food items for cooking. A rack is slidably received within the chamber above a bottom wall of the chamber along the vertical direction. A turntable is rotatably mounted on the rack. The oven appliance also includes a telescopic shaft positioned and configured to extend and retract along the vertical direction between an engaged position wherein the shaft engages the turntable to rotate the turntable and a disengaged position wherein the shaft is spaced apart from the turntable along the vertical direction.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A COOKING DEVICE WITH AN AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENING FUNCTION, AND COOKING DEVICE
In a method for operating a cooking appliance, a preparation program of the cooking appliance is carried out when preparing an item to be cooked in a cooking chamber of the cooking appliance, while a door of the cooking appliance closes the cooking chamber. The door is automatically opened by a door opening device of the cooking appliance when an end time of the preparation program is reached, and the door is maintained in an open state for a time period determined before opening and/or a time period permanently defined before opening.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR AN OVEN
A control assembly for an oven that includes an actuator configured to select a function of an oven and to generate an electrical signal identifying the function of the oven selected, and a control unit in communication with the actuator configured to receive the electrical signal generated and identify from the electrical signal the function of the oven selected. The control assembly also includes a rotary position switch configured to be positioned in a plurality of discrete positions, one of the discrete positions being a reference position, so that in each of the positions the rotary position switch activates at least one function of the oven and in the reference position the rotary position switch does not activate any function of the oven. The control device further includes an electric motor configured to rotate the rotary position switch and position it in one of the discrete positions, the control unit being configured to actuate the electric motor until the rotary position switch is positioned in the position corresponding to the selected function.
HOME APPLIANCE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Proposed is a home appliance that includes a cabinet defining an exterior of the home appliance; a reception space defined inside the cabinet and configured to receive objects in the reception space; a door configured to open/close an open surface of the reception space, the door having a viewing window provided at the door; a lamp configured to illuminate an inside of the reception space; a sensor assembly configured to output a knock-on signal based on detecting a user's knock; and a controller configured to turn on/off the lamp based on the knock-on signal output by the sensor assembly, wherein based on a present state of the home appliance corresponding to at least any one of a plurality of preset exceptional situations, the controller is configured to not turn on/off the lamp regardless of the knock-on signal being output.
CONNECTED FOOD PREPARATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A connected oven, including a set of in-cavity sensors and a processor configured to automatically identify foodstuff within the cooking cavity, based on the sensor measurements; and automatically operate the heating element based on the foodstuff identity.
