An air-conditioning system includes an air-conditioning unit for supplying conditioned aft to an activity space defined by a compartment and having an air-conditioning duct for guiding the conditioned aft to the activity space, and at least one auxiliary air duct mechanism including an auxiliary air duct communicatingly connected to the air-conditioning duct for communicating the activity space with the outside, and a fan mounted in the auxiliary air duct. The auxiliary air duct has an auxiliary air inlet for guiding therein the outside air, an inner air inlet opening for guiding therein the conditioned air, and an auxiliary air outlet for discharging the outside air and the conditioned air into the activity space.

AIR CONDITIONER MAKEUP AIR CIRCULATION

Air conditioner units and methods of operating the same are provided. A method of operating an air conditioner unit includes activating a makeup air system of the air conditioner unit. The makeup air system directs a flow of outside air from the makeup air system to an indoor portion of a housing of the air conditioner unit. The method also includes activating an indoor fan disposed in the indoor portion of the air conditioner unit at a fan speed at least equal to a minimum circulation threshold speed in response to the makeup air system being activated. Activating the indoor fan causes the flow of outside air from the makeup air system to be urged through the indoor portion of the housing. An air conditioner unit may include a controller, and the controller may be configured for performing the method.

An external-air conditioning apparatus and a ventilation system are provided, the external-air conditioning apparatus includes a fin tube type heat exchanger and a housing that stores this heat exchanger. The housing includes a base body that serves as a back side of the apparatus body and a cover body that serves as a front side of the apparatus body, and the base body and the cover body are dividable and detachable in structure. The base body has a base portion, a partitioning portion, a connecting pipe portion, a heat-exchanger-holding structure portion, and a water receiving portion. The cover body is a structure in which a front wall portion and a three-side peripheral wall portion are formed integrally with each other, and a part in which the peripheral wall portion is not formed is an inlet for external air.

FRESH AIR MODULE AND AIR CONDITIONER

A fresh air module and an air conditioner are provided. The fresh air module has a housing and a fan assembly. The housing has a fresh air duct inside the housing. The fan assembly has a motor and a wind wheel disposed in the fresh air duct. The motor has a motor body and a motor shaft. The motor shaft drives the wind wheel to rotate, so as to guide airflow to flow through the fresh air duct. The motor cover is arranged on the housing and outside of the fresh air duct. A motor accommodating cavity is defined in the motor cover and accommodates the motor body. A partition member is formed between the motor accommodating cavity and the fresh air duct to separate the motor accommodating cavity from the fresh air duct. The motor shaft penetrates through the partition to connect with the wind wheel.

FRESH AIR MODULE AND AIR CONDITIONER

Disclosed are a fresh air module and an air conditioner. The fresh air module has a housing, a fan assembly and a purification assembly. The housing is provided with a fresh air inlet and a fresh air outlet. A fresh air duct is formed in the housing and communicates the fresh air inlet with the fresh air outlet. The fan assembly is mounted in the fresh air duct. The purification assembly is disposed in the fresh air duct and located at one end of the fan assembly in an axial direction of the fan assembly to correspond to an air inlet end of the fan assembly.

The casing contains the insulation box and the insulation panel. The insulation box has a first outside-air introduction passage that is located apart from the space and that is communicable with an outside of the casing. The insulation panel has a second outside-air introduction passage that is located apart from the air outlet passage and that is communicable between the first outside-air introduction passage and the air inlet passage.
