20230044627 · 2023-02-09 ·

A heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) duct system which includes, at least in part, one or more modular, uniform, pre-manufactured duct elements having a uniform takeoff on one or more sides for connecting to a run to be connected to an air diffuser at the end. Each of the modular duct elements may include a built-in hanger support element so that the engineer merely has to design a very simple modular run of duct elements without unnecessary computations requiring different duct sizes. It also makes it simple and uniform for installing on site.

A fresh air distribution system designed for PTAC use, the system comprising a first upwardly directed air distribution duct configured to receive a stream of pressurized fresh air discharged from a fresh air blower apparatus and to redirect the stream into a transversely extending second air distribution duct communicating with the first air distribution duct, the second air distribution duct comprising a plurality of laterally spaced baffles angularly disposed inside the duct that divide and redirect the stream into an inside plenum of the PTAC to be combined with recirculated in-room air.

Air-conditioning duct structure of aircraft, aircraft, and method of manufacturing aircraft

An air-conditioning duct structure of an aircraft includes an air-conditioning duct that is provided on each of a starboard side and a port side and guides conditioned air to a vicinity of a ceiling of a cabin in the aircraft. The air-conditioning duct includes a blowout portion and a blowout upstream portion. The blowout portion blows out the conditioned air to the cabin from an outboard side of the ceiling to an inboard side of the ceiling and toward a lower part than the ceiling, and the blowout upstream portion communicates with an upstream side of the blowout portion. In addition, the blowout portion or the blowout upstream portion is curved to cause a terminal end side of the blowout portion to be inclined downward with respect to a horizontal direction.

An air control system 20 and associated methods including a flexible duct 30 having air exit holes 40, 42 and a flexible liner 50, 60 sheet within the duct 30 and extending longitudinally along the duct, the liner 50 sheet having opposite longitudinal edges 52, 54 connected to the duct 30 along the longitudinal length of the duct 30, the liner 50 sheet being permeable in one aspect and regulating air flow through the exit holes 40, 42 when the sheet is pressed against the portion of the duct having the exit holes, and an air deflector positioned externally the duct to modify airflow exiting the duct. The duct 30 may also have multiple liner sheets 50, 60 arranged end-to-end and/or layered in various duct segments such that the different liners may be independently controlled to regulate the outflow of air from the duct as desired. The duct having a liner which closes or inhibits air flow from the exit holes may also be rotated to accommodate use of a single duct for different seasons and where the internal liner adjusts to assist with the downward control of air flow based on alignment of various perforations with the different exits holes.

Disclosed is an air conditioner, including an air compressor intended to compress the air to cool, an air-liquid thermal exchanger designed to transfer heat from the compressed air to a liquid placed in a tank, an air-to-air thermal exchanger designed to further lower the temperature of the air to be cooled which, at this stage, is still kept in the compressed air state, a compressed air engine to provide an expansion of the compressed air, which naturally lowers its temperature and provides cooled air, and an envelope, with good thermal insulation properties and intended to contain all the constituent elements of the air conditioner; it will then not be necessary to provide for a hot air evacuation as on most air conditioners known in the state of the art.

Sealing plate assembly and air conditioner

The present application provides a sealing plate assembly and an air conditioner having thereof. The sealing plate assembly includes a first sealing plate and a second sealing plate mounted on one side of the first sealing plate. The two sealing plates can slide relative to each other. There is a sealing plate joint provided with a vent hole mounted on the first sealing plate and located at the end opposite to the end where the second sealing plate slides out of the first sealing plate. A connector is used for connecting the first sealing plate to the sealing plate joint, such that the first sealing plate and the sealing plate joint can rotate relatively by using the connector as the axis. A telescopic sealing plate assembly is formed through a relative sliding of the two sealing plates to adapt to the sizes of different windows.
