Wind baffle for preventing reverse fan torque
Wind baffles are provided at a side discharge vent of a cabinet containing a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) system. The wind baffles include two or more baffles joined to a support frame. The baffles have a leading edge towards ambient environment surrounding of the cabinet and a trailing edge towards an interior of the cabinet, and the leading edge has a perimeter greater than a perimeter of the trailing edge. The baffles may surround each successive baffle. The baffles may be concentric The wind baffles may be located between ambient environment surrounding of the cabinet and a fan near the side discharge vent. The fan may be a variable-speed fan.
Air handler devices with improved design and functionality
Architectures and techniques are presented that can facilitate improved design and function of certain air handler devices. Architectures directed to an improved air handler device can be designed to improve temperature control demands such as, e.g., concurrently heat and cool air and reducing device dimensions (e.g., size, weight) that can reduce costs and mitigate shipping and installation difficulties.
MANUFACTURING FIXTURES INCLUDING AN INTEGRATED DIFFUSER FOR DIFFUSING CONDITIONED AIR
A manufacturing fixture having an integrated diffuser for diffusing conditioned air into an industrial workspace is disclosed. The fixture includes an elevated platform having an air inlet and a diffuser deck mounted below the platform and disposed below the air inlet. The diffuser deck includes a set of louver plates arranged in a vertical stack. Each of the louver plates of the set has a top surface and an opening wherein the opening of each subsequent louver plate below the uppermost louver plate has an area less than the area of the louver plate directly above. The top surface of each louver plate is angled downward from the opening.

AIR AMPLIFIER ARRAYS FOR PRESENTING ATMOSPHERIC EFFECTS RELATING TO AN EVENT
An air amplifier utilizes a high-pressure input stream of air to accelerate a low-velocity input stream of air to provide a high-velocity, high-volume output stream of air. A coupled air amplifier array includes multiple air amplifiers which couple their respective output streams of air to one another to form a single collective output stream of air. Multiple coupled air amplifier arrays can be utilized to form coupled air amplifier array systems to provide multiple collective output streams of air which can be focused toward to an audience within a venue. The coupled air amplifier array system can be implemented within atmospheric effects systems to provide atmospheric effects, such as wind, scent, and/or temperature to provide some examples, relating to an event. These atmospheric effects systems can present these atmospheric effects to the audience to enhance the immersion of the audience as they are viewing the event. These atmospheric effects systems can include multiple portable mobile effects pods that are situated within different locations within the venue to present these atmospheric effects to different locations with the venue.
DUAL INLET AIR DIFFUSER
Dual inlet air diffuser for a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The dual inlet air diffuser mixes two or more separate and/or distinct air streams into a homogenous or nearly homogenous mixture of air. The two or more separate air streams may have different temperatures and/or different humidity levels, and/or may be from different sources, such as having one air stream comprising ventilation air that includes filtered air from an outside, ambient air source and a second conditioned air stream from a heating, air conditioning, or other air treatment unit.

AIR-GRATE FLOOR PANEL SUB-PLENUM RETROFIT ADD ON MULTI-DIRECTIONAL PLUME
Disclosed is the redirection of air flow in a sub-plenum using a multi-directional plume that is attached to the bottom surface of an air-grate floor panel. The air-grate floor panel 102 has openings which allow redirected air to flow in an upward direction to cool computer equipment, including servers. The multi-directional plume has a series of vanes that are disposed in various different directions to deflect a flow of air conditioning air through a sub-plenum in a vertical direction to flow through openings in the air-grate floor panel. Since the multi-directional plume is capable of redirecting air from various different directions in the sub-plenum, the air-grate floor panels do not have to be repositioned to capture air flow from any particular direction.
Arrangement for ventilating a room, in particular a laboratory room
An arrangement for ventilating a room contains a supply air duct arranged above an aisle region for delivering air into a room and, arranged above the supply air duct, an exhaust air duct for discharging exhaust air. The supply air duct contains two lateral air delivery portions which extend along the aisle region and each contain air outlet openings from which the supply air exits laterally. A substantially airtight central separating portion separates the first and the second air delivery portions from one another. The exhaust air duct contains two slot-like suction openings which extend substantially parallel to the supply air duct and are arranged in the ceiling such that there is formed on both sides of the aisle region a rolling air flow via which supply air heated in the region of work tables passes in a vertical direction into the region of the ceiling.
