Air vent and motor vehicle

An air vent for a motor vehicle includes a housing with an air channel for feeding air and a partial hemisphere shell. The partial hemisphere shell is mounted in a rotatable manner within the housing such that air fed through the air channel is deflected on the housing before it exits from the air vent.

Exhaust fan unit of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system

An exhaust fan unit of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes an outer fluid path of a nozzle assembly of the exhaust fan unit defined by and between an outer wall of the nozzle assembly and an inner wall of the nozzle assembly, an inner fluid path of the nozzle assembly defined by and radially inward from the inner wall, and a plurality of entrainment ports extending from the outer wall to the inner wall and configured to enable environmental air to pass to the inner fluid path, where each entrainment port includes a bottom surface that tapers downwardly from the inner wall to the outer wall.

Air deflection assembly for air conditioner

An air conditioner is provided. A main body of the air conditioner is provided with an air outlet facing a front lower side of the main body. An upper passage is arranged above the air outlet and in communication with the air outlet, and is adapted to supply air forwardly. An upper air deflection assembly is used to direct air to flow out of a terminus of the upper passage. The upper air deflection assembly has an upper air diffusing plate. A front air deflection assembly is used to direct air to flow out of a terminus of the air outlet.

An air register can control airflow direction and intensity. The air register includes an attachment mechanism that is configured to attach to a surface. The air register further includes a plurality of diffuser discs attached to the attachment mechanism and configured so that they may be manually moved from a closed configuration to an open configuration. The diffuser discs include a plurality of apertures that allow air to flow therethrough. In the closed configuration, the diffuser discs are arranged to cover the apertures so that air cannot flow therethrough. In the open configuration, the plurality of diffuser discs are spaced apart to allow air to flow through the apertures. Further, the diffuser discs can be tilted to control airflow direction.
