AIR CONDITIONER
An air conditioner including: a housing including a cylinder portion, an inlet, and an outlet formed in a lower portion of the cylinder portion and being in a shape of an arc; a heat exchanger positioned inside the cylinder portion and being in a shape of an arc; and a plurality of blades configured to selectively open or block the outlet, wherein the plurality of blades are arranged along a circumferential direction of the outlet and configured to move back and forth in a radial direction of the outlet to open or block the outlet, and each of the plurality of blades includes a plurality of holes configured to enable, upon blocking of the outlet by the blade, air entered the inlet to be discharged to outside of the housing through the blade.
Exhaust fan assembly having a system for automatically opening a damper in the event of a power failure
An exhaust fan configured to exhaust air from a building includes a housing, a fan, and a motor for driving the fan. Overlying the fan is one or more dampers that are moveable from a closed position to an open position. Underlying the dampers is at least one pivot arm per damper that is pivotally connected to the fan and which normally assumes a horizontal position spaced from the overlying damper. A mechanical fusible link is connected to the pivot arm and is configured to break in response to a buildup of heat in and around the dampers. Once the fusible link breaks, then the pivot arm is operative to engage and open the overlying damper.
Configurable animal house ceiling vent
A ceiling vent assembly incudes a ceiling vent having a pair of opposed end panels and a pair of opposed side panels, which define a frame that is open at its top and bottom. The frame receives two louvers pivotally mounted so as to be movable between open and closed positions. The ceiling vent assembly also includes first and second cables attached to the first and second louvers and a pulley assembly having a pair of vertically-oriented pulleys and a center pulley block having at least one horizontal pulley. The horizontal pulley has two vertically offset cable guides. Control rods pass through aligned rod openings in the end panels and pulley block. The pulley block has cable routing holes adjacent to each of the cable guides. The first cable is routed from the first louver, around the first vertical pulley, around one of the cable guides and then to one of the control rods, and the second cable is routed from the second louver, around the second vertical pulley, around the other one of the cable guides and then to one of the control rods such that the cables can be selectively routed so that the louvers can be controlled by either one of the control rods.
Animal house sidewall inlet
An assembly for controlling the position of air inlets of an enclosure including an actuation rod which moves laterally and is positioned above and parallel with the air inlets, one or more actuation cables, where the first end of each actuation cable is attached to the actuation rod and the second end of each cable is attached to one or more of the air inlets and lateral movement of the actuation rod causes vertical movement of the actuation cables and attached air inlets.
Retrofit damper with pivoting connection between deployment and operational configurations
A damper assembly is configured for deployment in a forced air duct that supplies conditioned air through a register boot to a register vent secured relative to the register boot. The damper assembly includes a damper unit and a deployment strap. The deployment strap includes a first end secured relative to the damper unit and an opposing second end and has a length that is sufficient to position the damper unit in the forced air duct when the second end of the deployment strap is secured relative to the register boot. When in a deployment configuration, the damper unit has a reduced profile to facilitate deliver of the damper unit through the register boot and into the forced air duct. When in an operational configuration, the damper unit is configured to operate a damper blade between a closed position and an open position.
Wire fastener for indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
An indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a wire attachment part on which a wire is placed, a wire retainer configured to retain the wire placed on the wire attachment part, a wall part provided on one lateral side of the wire attachment part, and having a plurality of opening ports each configured to receive a protrusion part formed at one end of the wire retainer, a plurality of boss parts provided on the other lateral side of the wire attachment part, and having heights different from each other, the wire retainer having the other end to be fastened to any one of the plurality of boss parts, and a fastener configured to fasten the wire retainer to the one of the plurality of boss parts.
ADJUSTABLE SOFFIT DOOR SYSTEM
This disclosure relates generally to an adjustable soffit door system, more particularly, and without limitation, to a method of manufacturing an adjustable soffit door system without welding and for use in livestock buildings, where the adjustable soffit door system resists warping, provides better nesting, provides better operation, and provides ease of shipping and handling.
Air return assembly having a retractable grille
The present invention includes an air return grille assembly adapted to be installed within an air return opening disposed within a ceiling, the air return opening having a first perimeter. The air return housing includes a frame establishing a housing channel. A flange is configured to restrict an air filter from being disposed through the frame. A retraction mechanism is coupled to a portion of the lateral wall of the air return housing and configured to transition the grille from a first position to a second position. When in the first position an air filter is disposed between the grill and the flange such that air flowing through the air return opening is filtered by the air filter. In the second position, the grille is disposed away from the air return housing and configured to permit the safe removal and replacement of the air filter.
