Adjustable adjuster from a first end and a second end of the adjuster
An adjustment device designed to adjust a flow rate of a fluid flowing in a duct, including a body in which an adjustment valve is mounted, movable in rotation about an adjustment axis, the body having an area upstream of the adjustment axis and a downstream area opposite to the upstream area with respect to the adjustment axis, where the adjustment axis is equipped with connecting means which cooperate with at least one first control member positioned in the downstream area and a second control member positioned in the upstream area.
DAMPER ASSEMBLY OF A HEATING, VENTILATION, AND/OR AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) SYSTEM
A damper of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a crank configured to rotate about an axis of a shaft relative to a support, a reset arm configured to rotate about the axis of the shaft relative to the support, a spring coupled to the crank and the reset arm, and a fuse link configured to be coupled to the reset arm and the support in a set configuration and to release the reset arm from the support in response to a temperature exceeding a threshold temperature. The crank and the reset arm are configured to rotate away from the support in a first circumferential direction toward a closed configuration in response to the fuse link releasing the reset arm from the support. A spring force of the spring is configured to increase to enable the reset arm to rotate in a second circumferential direction opposite to the first circumferential direction beyond the set configuration and into a reset configuration.
Pneumatically actuated louver for air conditioner unit
An air conditioner unit includes a blower fan. The blower fan includes a blade assembly and a motor connected to the blade assembly. The air conditioner unit also includes an inlet grille upstream of the blower fan and an outlet grille downstream of the blower fan. The air conditioner unit further includes an automatic louver assembly operatively connected to the outlet grille whereby air flowing through the outlet grille is directed in a first direction when the automatic louver assembly is in a first position and the air flowing through the outlet grille is directed in a second direction when the automatic louver assembly is in a second position.
Standoff regulator
A standoff comprising a handle that is adjustably associated with a bracket, with the handle self-latching in relation to bracket at a desired position and at a desired quantifiable torque in relation to the bracket.
Backdraft damper having damper blades with opposed movement linkage
A backdraft damper for permitting a flow of air in an outflow direction and preventing the flow of air in a backdraft direction, including a frame having a transverse opening allowing the passage of air through the frame; a plurality of blades, each blade extending across the frame and mounted to the frame about a central portion by pivot members, for rotation between an open position in which the blade allows air to flow through the frame and a closed position in which the blade blocks air from flowing through the frame, the plurality of blades including one or more first blades arranged to rotate in a first direction from the closed position to the open position; one or more second blades arranged to rotate in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the closed position to the open position; the backdraft damper further including a linkage between the one or more first blades and the one or more second blades to cause the first and second blades to together rotate between the closed and open positions; and the one or more second blades being more balanced about respective pivot members than the one or more first blades thereby to permit the one or more first blades to bias the entire plurality of blades to the closed position while being movable to the open position by the force of air flowing through the frame in the outflow direction.
MAGNETIC VENT COVER
A vent cover for an air duct having (a) a top surface with an aperture, (b) an actuating member extending through the aperture and operably connected to a magnet selectively engageable with the air duct, and (c) a bias means for urging the magnet towards the air duct, the actuating member movable between a securing position and a releasing position, wherein in the securing position the bias means urges the magnet towards the air duct, and in the releasing position the actuating member moves the magnet away from the air duct to allow the vent cover to be removed from the air duct.
DAMPER FOR VENTILATION SYSTEMS
The present invention is relative to a damper (5) adapted to regulate an air flow orifice (7) for passing of an air flow in a ventilation duct (2), wherein the damper (5) comprises a plate (11), a regulating device (12) and a mounting element (13), wherein the mounting element (13) is resilient and comprises a first and a second end (19, 20), the distance (L1, L2) between the first and the second end (19, 20) being arranged to change when the mounting element (13) bends resiliently, and wherein the first and a seconds end (19, 20) are adapted to cooperate with an inside of the ventilation duct (2) to removably mount the damper (5) in the ventilation duct (2), and a ventilation system (1) comprising such a damper (5).
EVAPORATOR WITH ONE OR MORE LEAK MITIGATION DAMPERS
Disclosed is a HVAC/R system including: an HVAC/R component that has a heat exchanger, the HVAC/R component configured to allow a refrigerant to flow therethrough; a housing with the heat exchanger disposed there therein, and a supply side air conduit connected to the housing, the supply side air conduit being operably coupled to the HVAC/R component; a supply side leak mitigation damper operably coupled to the supply side air conduit; and wherein the supply side leak mitigation conduit is configured to selectively block airflow through the supply side air conduit.
Variable louver control for fans
Systems for controlling louver positions are described herein. Such systems may include: a louver frame; a louver coupled to the louver frame via a rotation member and adapted to rotate at a louver side around an axis of rotation at the rotation member. In one embodiment, the louver includes a spring member engagement feature. The system also includes a spring member coupled to the louver frame and adapted to engage with the spring member engagement feature of the louver and apply a force to the louver when a forward airflow is applied to the louver in a forward airflow direction.
Damper Adjusting Arrangement
A damper adjusting arrangement configured for regulating the flow of a gaseous fluid within a channel (5) of an extractor tubing. The damper adjusting arrangement includes a damper member pivotably arranged in the channel and coupled to a rotary control means of the damper adjusting arrangement. A first member of the rotary control means includes a resilient element, which exhibits a plurality of radially protruding first bulges being configured for engagement with a second member of the rotary control means.
