Gas furnace to produce heated air and optionally hot water via a bypass pipe
Provided is a gas furnace including a primary heat exchanger and a secondary heat exchanger through which a combustion gas produced by the combustion of a fuel gas flows. The gas furnace includes: a coupling box serving as an intermediary to connect the primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger; a collect box connected to the secondary heat exchanger, for letting in the combustion gas passed through the secondary heat exchanger; an inducer connected to the collect box, for inducing a flow of the combustion gas; and a bypass pipe connected to one side of the coupling box and including a bypass pipe for guiding the combustion gas passed through the primary heat exchanger to a hot water supply tank for supplying hot water to an indoor space.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger assembly including at least one coil shaped heat exchanger pipe assembly for passing through a fluid to be heated. The heat exchanger pipe assembly has an inlet and an outlet and includes coil windings extending concentrically around a coil axis. The heat exchanger assembly further includes a housing in which the heat exchanger pipe assembly is received, such that a flue gas transport gap extends between the heat exchanger pipe assembly and the circumferential wall. In use, hot flue gas passes the coil windings, thereby imparting the heat to the fluid present in the heat exchanger pipe assembly. The housing has a first and a second end wall which close off a first end and a second end of the circumferential wall. The second end wall includes a burner cover opening in which a burner cover can be mounted. The housing is made of plastic and the heat exchanger pipe assembly is clamped in axial direction between the first and the second end wall of the plastic housing.
Heat Exchanger
A heat exchanger which is used primarily in oil and gas operations to heat tanks of liquids, such as drilling mud, water, heavy oil or other such fluids from freezing or becoming too viscous to pump.
Solar Heat Pump Water Heater
A solar water heating pump system. A heat pump and a heat exchanger, connected to the heat pump, and creating heat that exchanges heat from the heat pump to change a temperature in a load, which is usually heated or cooled water. There is also a connection to grid power. A controller controls the heat pump and heat exchanger based on the grid power and detection of an amount of solar power that is available.
Heat exchanger
A method of connecting a heat exchanger, which is used primarily in oil and gas operations to heat tanks of liquids, such as drilling mud, water, heavy oil or other such fluids from freezing or becoming too viscous to pump, to a tank.
Combination systems and related methods for providing power, heat and cooling
A combined heat, cooling and power system is configured to generate energy as well capture a large percentage of energy that would otherwise be lost using components, including heat transfer components, embedded within a vessel to transfer energy in the form of heat to liquid within the vessel.
Retrofit cover plate and assembly to adapt alternative energy supplies to electric water heaters
A multi-functional retrofit cover plate assembly and method for an electric water heater to provide interconnection with an alternative energy system to heat water in a water holding tank of the electric water heater. The cover plate is adapted for replacement connection over a bottom access opening formed in an outer casing of the electric water heater which permits access to a bottom resistive heating element and electrical connections. The retrofit cover plate is shaped to define an internal dedicated compartment. A dual resistive heating element is provided for replacement of the bottom resistive heating element. An electronic switch unit is further provided and it has a power cut-off switch for connection to an alternative supply voltage. A temperature sensor is provided for mounting against an outer surface of the tank of the water heater to feed actual temperature signals of water temperature within the tank, in a lower region thereof, to the electronic switch unit which operates the power cut-off switch upon a predetermined temperature having been attained in the tank of the water heater. The retrofit cover plate and the assembly also make it possible to covert the water heater to a high temperature water heater or to adapt the electric water heater to a thermal fluid heat source.
WATER HEATER, AND SCALE DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present disclosure discloses a water heater, and a scale detection system and method. The scale detection system comprises: a first temperature detector configured to acquire a first temperature of a heat exchange zone of a water heating device; a second temperature detector configured to acquire a second temperature indicating a water temperature in the water heating device; and a controller in communication with the first temperature detector and the second temperature detector, and configured to acquire a temperature difference between the first temperature and the second temperature based on the first temperature acquired by the first temperature detector and the second temperature acquired by the second temperature detector, and determine that a scale generation amount in the water heating device reaches a preset threshold when at least one of the following judgment conditions is met: the first temperature is not less than a preset temperature threshold; and the temperature difference is not less than a preset temperature difference threshold. The present disclosure can ensure that a user can be reliably and timely reminded to clean the scale under different working conditions.
Muffler and catalytic converters for combined heating and power systems
A combined heating and power system is configured to generate energy as well capture a large percentage of energy that would otherwise be lost using components, including heat transfer components, embedded within a vessel to transfer energy in the form of heat to liquid within the vessel.
Waste-Heat Recovery System in Oil-Cooled Gas Compressor
A waste-heat recovery system includes a waste-heat-recovery heat a tank, a circulation circuit, a circulation pump, and a control device that is configured to obtain the temperature of the heat medium flowing through a heat medium outlet piping of the circulation circuit and the temperature of the water stored in the tank. The control device stops the circulation pump or reduces the rotational frequency thereof in a case where the temperature of the heat medium flowing through the heat medium outlet piping is lower, or lower by a predetermined temperature or more, than the temperature of the water.
