Hot Water Boiler
The present invention relates to a hot water boiler. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a hot water boiler comprising: a water tube unit, which includes a combustion chamber in which combustion gas is generated, at least one water tube provided in the combustion chamber, and an outlet supplying hot water to a place needing hot water, which flows through the water tubes and is heated by absorbing heat from the combustion gas; a smoke tube unit including a main body, at least one smoke tube provided in the main body and vertically extended so as to allow the combustion gas to pass therethrough, an inner chamber encompassing the smoke tubes, and a supply passage supplying cold water, which is supplied from the outside, to an inner space of the inner chamber, wherein the inner chamber is configured so as to allow water flowing into the inner space of the inner chamber to be heated by absorbing the heat from the smoke tubes, and then to move to an outer space of the inner chamber from the upper part of the inner chamber; and a connection unit including a connection chamber supplying, to the smoke tube unit, the combustion gas provided from the water tube unit, and at least one connection water tube supplying, to the water tube unit, the water provided from the smoke tube unit.
Reduced size fire tube boiler system and method of operating same
A boiler system having a generally cylindrical housing or shell includes a main or fire tube with a furnace or combustion chamber extending longitudinally near the bottom of the housing and a burner to accomplish combustion within the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber opens at its rear end to furnace tube sheet, and to a first set of tubes extending longitudinally of the boiler. The first set of tubes extends to and through the rear tube sheet of the boiler to a turnaround space, which transitions to a second set of tubes located above the combustion chamber and first set of tubes to generally span a length extending from the rear tube sheet of the boiler to the front tube sheet. The boiler system as disclosed has a reduced size while maintaining efficiency in steam and hot water applications.
Smoke tube boiler
The present subject matter relates to a smoke tube boiler including: a mix chamber, a heat exchanger, a firing rod assembly, a sealing means, and an air-cooled cooling means and a water-cooled cooling means.
WAVY SMOKE TUBE STRUCTURE OF BOILER
The present disclosure relates to a wavy smoke tube structure of a boiler, which improves heat exchange efficiency of a smoke tube. The wavy smoke tube structure includes: a main body formed in a columnar shape and having a space therein; a plurality of first concave portions concavely formed along a first side portion in a longitudinal direction of the main body; a plurality of second concave portions concavely formed along a second side portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body opposite to the first side portion and each positioned between a pair of the first concave portions to face them; and a plurality of blocking grooves formed in a pair of sidewall portions provided between the first side portion and the second side portion.

RESIDENTIAL HYBRID HOT WATER TANK AND CONTROL SYSTEM THEREFOR
A hot water tank is provided. The hot water tank comprising: a tank which includes a bottom, a top, and sides therebetween to define an interior; a combustion chamber within the interior, proximate the bottom and sides, the combustion chamber terminating in a mouth where it connects to the side; a gas burner, which is a first heat source and is housed in the combustion chamber; a combustion fan located at the mouth of the combustion chamber and in gaseous communication with an ambient environment and the combustion chamber; a substantially spiral flue which extends upward through the interior and is in gaseous communication with the combustion chamber and a chimney, which is located proximate the top of the tank, such that in use flue gases travel from the combustion chamber upward to the chimney; a condensation trap, which is outside the tank and is in fluid communication with the combustion chamber or the flue proximate the combustion chamber; and a controller, the controller configured to control the burner.
Secondary flue restrainer for condensing water heater
A flue restrainer and a method is provided for restraining a secondary flue conduit of a condensing water heater wherein to prevent damage to the connections of the secondary flue conduit during transport and manipulation of the condensing water heater prior to being placed into service. The flue restrainer is an inexpensive, single molded plastics part, which is clamped or friction fitted to the secondary flue during fabrication of the water heater.

Tube Sheets and Tube Sheet Assemblies
A tube sheet for a thermal transfer device can include a body having a plurality of apertures that traverse therethrough, where the plurality of apertures are configured to receive a plurality of tubes of the thermal transfer device. The tube sheet can also include an outer perimeter defining the body, where the outer perimeter has at least one first recess feature disposed therein. The at least one first recess feature can have a first shape and a first size, where the first shape is any shape aside from a semi-circle.
HEAT EXCHANGER HAVING CIRCULATION GUIDE
A heat exchanger having a circulation guide, the heat exchanger comprising: a heat exchanger body; an inlet port, which is connected to a bottom end of the heat exchanger body; a discharge port which is connected to a top end of the heat exchanger body; a top body tube installed at a top end of an inside of the heat exchanger body; a bottom end plate installed at a bottom end of the inside of the heat exchanger body; and combustion pipes, which each have a top end connected to pass through a floor surface of the top body tube.
