REFRIGERATOR SYSTEM WITH MODULAR STRUCTURE
A modular refrigerator system includes a modular cabinet and a machine housing. The modular cabinet comprises at least two sections that are secured to each other and collectively define an internal cavity configured to receive perishable foodstuffs or other items that may need to be refrigerated. The machine housing defines a machine compartment having a refrigeration circuit disposed therein. The refrigeration circuit has an evaporator and a condenser. The machine housing is secured to the modular cabinet and has an interface that establishes fluid communication with the internal cavity of the modular cabinet.
VACUUM INSULATED STRUCTURE
An insulating structure for an appliance includes a trim breaker, a first panel, a second panel, and an adhesive. The trim breaker defines a first groove and a second groove. The first panel is disposed within the first groove and is coupled to the trim breaker. The second panel is disposed within the second groove and is coupled to the trim breaker. The adhesive is disposed within the first and second grooves and is coupled to the first and second panels.
INSULATED PANEL STRUCTURE
A method of manufacturing a kit for a cold storage room includes the following steps: determining one or more dimensions of the cold storage room; providing continuously manufactured insulation panels, cut to have a length based on the dimensions of the cold storage room, and having alignment structures formed thereon; cutting one or more of the continuously manufactured insulation panels to have a width based on the dimensions of the cold storage room and to form one or more joints; forming connecting structures on one or more of the continuously manufactured insulation panels, the connecting structures configured to form one or more joints; and providing connection hardware configured to mate with the connecting structures and to form one or more joints.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes an inner case, an outer case, and an insulating material. The refrigerator includes a first door, a second door where the second door is to open and close at least another portion of a storage compartment, a rotating bar rotatable with respect to the first door or the second door so that the rotating bar covers a gap between the first door and the second door while the first door and the second door are closed; and a rotation guide coupleable to the inner case to guide the rotating bar while the rotating bar is being rotated according to opening and closing of the first door or the second door. The inner case is formed to cover a front member of the rotation guide so that the front member of the rotation guide is unexposed to a front side of the inner case.
Vacuum insulated refrigerator structure with feature for controlling deformation and improved air withdrawal
A vacuum insulated structure including a first cover member of a stamped unitary sheet defining a perimeter portion positioned at a first planar level and first rib formed in the unitary sheet extending to a second planar level spaced axially outward and disposed radially inward of the perimeter portion, a second cover member, and thermal bridge interconnecting the first cover member and the second cover member at the perimeter portions thereof to define an insulating cavity therebetween. The insulating cavity is a sealed cavity having a vacuum drawn therefrom, and the first rib defines a first portion of a path for air flow out of the sealed cavity during a vacuum draw process.
REFRIGERATOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A main body of a refrigerating includes a plurality of vacuum insulation panels, each vacuum insulation panel of the plurality of vacuum insulation panels including an exterior material having first and second surfaces opposite to each other, and a core material in a vacuum state between the first and second surfaces of the exterior material. The plurality of vacuum insulation panels are assembled together so that the first surfaces of the exterior materials of the plurality of vacuum insulation panels form a storage compartment inside the main body.
VACUUM ADIABATIC BODY AND REFRIGERATOR
A vacuum adiabatic body and a refrigerator are provided. The vacuum adiabatic body includes a support that maintains a vacuum space between a first plate and a second plate, and a heat resistance unit comprising at least one radiation resistance sheet that blocks radiation heat transfer in the vacuum space so as to reduce heat transfer between the first plate and the second plate. The support includes two support plates, and the at least one radiation resistance sheet is supported by at least one support protrusion provided on a bar, which couples the two support plates to each other, to maintain an interval between the first plate and the second plate.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a storage space and a door configured to open and close the storage space. The door includes comprises: a panel assembly comprising a front panel, a door frame connected to the panel assembly, a door liner defining, with the door frame, an insulating space that accommodates an insulator, and a basket installed on the door liner. The door liner includes: an outer body, a liner extension portion extending from the outer body in a direction crossing the outer body, and a plurality of ribs that are disposed at the outer body and that are spaced apart from the liner extension portion. The door frame comprises a frame extension portion that is disposed between the plurality of ribs and the liner extension portion.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator including a cabinet having an outer case; a side panel including a main body; and an upper panel, wherein the side panel is configured to be detachably mounted on an outside of the outer case so that the main body forms an exterior of one side surface of the cabinet while the side panel is mounted to the outside of the outer case, and the upper panel is configured to be detachably coupled to the side panel while the side panel is mounted to the outside of the outer case so that the upper panel covers an upper portion of the cabinet.
Method of making a folded insulated structure
A vacuum insulated cabinet structure includes panels having sheet metal outer side walls and polymer inner side walls. The polymer inner side walls are heat-sealed to a layer of polymer material laminated to a flat sheet metal blank to form vacuum cavities. The blank is then bent along fold lines to form a cabinet structure.
