Storage structure for refrigerator appliance
A cover is provided for a storage bin of a refrigerator. The cover includes a panel and a communication portion. The panel has an upper surface for storing food items thereon that is substantially planar and substantially horizontal. Moreover, the panel separates an upper space located above the panel from a lower space located below the panel. The communication portion is configured to provide fluid communication between the upper and lower spaces. In particular, the communication portion includes an upward-facing recessed surface, one or more side wall portions that extend above and at least partially bound the recessed surface, and a plurality of apertures that extend through the recessed surface and provide fluid communication between the upper space and lower space. The recessed surface and the one or more side wall portions collectively define a recess. Optionally, a wine rack is provided.
Refrigeration device with reinforced housing
A refrigeration device includes a cabinet surrounded by a thermally-insulated housing having a sidewall facing outside and an inner liner spaced apart from the sidewall. At least one door is hinged to the housing by at least one hinge element and a front frame part is provided at a side of the housing facing the door. The housing includes a reinforcing member provided at a region of the housing adjacent a respective hinge element, so as to connect a pair of frame parts extending vertically between the sidewall and the inner liner to each other and to the respective hinge element and sidewall.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE
A refrigerator includes a cabinet and a shelf. The cabinet has a rear wall and opposing side walls extending forward from the rear wall. The rear wall and opposing side walls define an internal cavity. The shelf is disposed within the internal cavity, has a base portion defining a plurality of aligned grooves, and has an extendable portion having a plurality of aligned protrusions. Each protrusion is disposed and slidable within one of the aligned grooves. The extendable portion is configured to transition between first and second positions relative to the base portion via sliding the plurality of aligned protrusions within the plurality of aligned grooves.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator with a liner body and a beam, where the beam has an end portion, and the liner body has a liner wall. An insertion groove is on the liner wall, and the end portion is configured to be inserted into the insertion groove. A limit convex pin is on the end portion and a limit groove is on the liner wall and matched with a shape of the limit convex pin. The limit convex pin is configured to be inserted into the limit groove to limit rotation of the beam relative to the liner body. By matching the limit convex pin and the limit groove, the rotation of the beam relative to the liner wall is limited by the liner wall when the beam is under uneven forces, thereby reducing the flip probability of the beam of the refrigerator.
Drawer-shelf system for a refrigerator appliance
A drawer-shelf system for a refrigerator includes a drawer, a support rail, and a shelf plate. The drawer has a ridge protruding therefrom. The support rail defines a first channel along a side of the support rail. The first channel is configured to receive the ridge such that the drawer is slidable relative to and supported by the support rail. The support rail has a protrusion extending upward from a first end of the support rail. The protrusion defines a second channel. The shelf plate has an outer edge extending about an outer periphery of the shelf. A first portion of the outer edge is configured to be disposed within the second channel such that the shelf plate is supported by the first end.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a storage chamber, a drawer door, a motor assembly provided at the storage chamber and configured to provide a driving force that moves the drawer door relative to the storage chamber, and a rack gear assembly provided at the drawer door and having an extendable rack gear. The rack gear includes a fixed rack fixed to the drawer door and a moving rack slidably coupled to the fixed rack. The drawer door includes a drawer part that defines an upwardly open storage space, and a door part that is configured to, based on the drawer door being inserted into the storage chamber, close the storage chamber.
Vacuum insulation assembly for an appliance
A method for assembling a vacuum insulation assembly for an appliance is provided. The method includes steps of defining a plurality of spaces on a guide and positioning the guide flush with an inner surface of a panel. The method further includes a step of determining positions of a plurality of clips using the plurality of spaces of the guide. Another step of the method includes coupling the plurality of clips with the inner surface of the panel. The method also includes separating the guide from the panel and coupling permeable tubing with the plurality of clips.
Rear bracket for shelf assembly
A rear bracket for a wall-mounted, appliance shelf assembly includes a central portion that defines a plurality of receiving wells. A first mounting portion extends parallel to the central portion and is configured to align with a first wall of an appliance cabinet. A second mounting portion extends perpendicular to the central portion and is configured to align with a second wall of the appliance cabinet. The second wall is positioned perpendicular to the first wall. A first fastener is configured to couple the first mounting portion with the first wall. A second fastener is configured to couple the second mounting portion with the second wall.
Refrigerator with vacuum insulation housing a heat interchanger
A refrigerator includes an inner case, an outer case, a vacuum space, and a liquid-gas interchanger. The inner case defines an exterior appearance of a storage space. The outer case is spaced apart a predetermined distance from the inner case. The vacuum space is provided between the inner case and the outer case, and maintains a vacuum to insulate the inner case from the outer case. The liquid-gas interchanger is arranged in the vacuum space to generate heat exchange between a refrigerant after it is exhausted from an evaporator and a refrigerant before it is drawn into an evaporator.
Shelf support bracket system for glass refrigerator shelf and refrigerator shelf assembly using same
A shelf support bracket system for a transparent refrigerator shelf of a refrigerator, including: an unfinished metal, load-bearing support bracket having mounting hooks at one end for mounting to an inside wall of the refrigerator; and a decorative cover sleeve slidably disposed over the unfinished metal, load-bearing support bracket so as to cover a substantial portion thereof. The decorative cover sleeve has an upper surface serving as an attachment surface that is configured to receive the transparent refrigerator shelf.
