A refrigerator has a temperature-controlled drawer within a fresh food compartment that includes: a temperature sensor within the temperature-controlled drawer and/or the fresh food compartment; a display coupled to the drawer, wherein the display receives an output from the temperature sensor, determines what food type would be best suited for the temperature based on said temperature sensor output, and indicates what type of food it has determined is best for storage therein; at least one light within said drawer, wherein the at least one light changes to a first color, based on the food type indicated by the display, and turns off and on depending on whether the fresh food compartment door is closed or open, respectively.

HUMAN-MACHINE INTERACTION METHOD FOR STORAGE DEVICE INSIDE REFRIGERATOR, AND REFRIGERATOR

A human-machine interaction method for a storage device inside a refrigerator, and a refrigerator are provided. The storage device is arranged in a storage compartment of the refrigerator, and the storage device is provided with an operation panel. An operation surface of the operation panel is provided with a knob module having a display screen, and a touch-sensitive key module. The human-machine interaction method includes: acquiring a startup trigger signal of the operation panel; acquiring an operation instruction received by the knob module and/or the touch-sensitive key module; and making a response to the operation instruction according to a preset interaction solution, and driving the display screen to display a corresponding interface. A user can adjust the functions of the refrigerator through the knob module and the touch-sensitive key module simply and conveniently. The human-machine interaction mode is simple and convenient, and the intelligence of the refrigerator as an intelligent household appliance is significantly improved.

The panel has an upper surface for storing food items thereon that is substantially planar and substantially horizontal. Moreover, the panel separates an upper space located above the panel from a lower space located below the panel. The communication portion is configured to provide fluid communication between the upper and lower spaces. In particular, the communication portion includes an upward-facing recessed surface, one or more side wall portions that extend above and at least partially bound the recessed surface, and a plurality of apertures that extend through the recessed surface and provide fluid communication between the upper space and lower space. The recessed surface and the one or more side wall portions collectively define a recess. Optionally, a wine rack is provided.
