Mixed Refrigerant System and Method
A system and method for cooling a gas using a mixed refrigerant includes a compressor system and a heat exchange system, where the compressor system may include an interstage separation device or drum with no liquid outlet, a liquid outlet in fluid communication with a pump that pumps liquid forward to a high pressure separation device or a liquid outlet through which liquid flows to the heat exchanger to be subcooled. In the last situation, the subcooled liquid is expanded and combined with an expanded cold temperature stream, which is a cooled and expanded stream from the vapor side of a cold vapor separation device, and subcooled and expanded streams from liquid sides of the high pressure separation device and the cold vapor separation device, or combined with a stream formed from the subcooled streams from the liquid sides of the high pressure separation device and the cold vapor separation device after mixing and expansion, to form a primary refrigeration stream.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONDENSING A GAS
The invention relates to a method for condensing a gas, wherein the gas is subjected to cooling in indirect heat exchange with a refrigerant and at least part of the refrigerant is subjected, after the heat exchange with the gas, to compression by means of a drive (GT1) that produces waste heat and to a partial or complete condensing process. After the partial or complete condensing process, a first portion of the refrigerant is subjected to the heat exchange with the gas and a second portion of the refrigerant is subjected, in succession, to pressurization, heating by means of the waste heat of the drive (GT1) and work-performing expansion and thereafter is fed back to the partial or complete condensing process. The invention further relates to a corresponding system.

COMPRESSOR TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS
An LNG refrigerant compressor train (1) is disclosed. The train comprises: a driver section (11), drivingly coupled to a compressor section (13) through a shaft line (1). The compressor section is comprised of at least one refrigerant fluid compressor, driven into rotation by the driver section (11).
A SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS AND METHOD
The system comprises a natural gas feed and a natural gas liquefaction facility having a refrigeration circuit comprising: a compressor adapted to compress at least one refrigerant fluid; a driver adapted to drive the compressor; and a heat exchanger adapted to receive a flow of natural gas from the natural gas feed and remove heat therefrom by heat exchange against the refrigerant fluid. A heat pump collects low-temperature thermal energy rejected from the natural gas liquefaction facility and transfers the collected thermal energy to a thermal energy storage system at a higher temperature. The system further comprises a processing facility powered by thermal energy from the thermal energy storage system.
Hydrogen-neon mixture refrigeration cycle for large-scale hydrogen cooling and liquefaction
The present invention relates to a refrigerant composition comprising neon and hydrogen. The present invention further relates to the use of the refrigerant composition in liquefying gaseous substances such as hydrogen or helium.

Multiple pressure mixed refrigerant cooling process and system
Systems and methods described for increasing capacity and efficiency of natural gas liquefaction processes having a mixed refrigerant precooling system with multiple pressure levels comprising cooling the compressed mixed refrigerant stream and separating the cooled compressed mixed refrigerant stream into a vapor and liquid portion. The liquid portion provides refrigeration duty to a first precooling heat exchanger. The vapor portion is further compressed, cooled, and condensed, and used to provide refrigeration duty to a second precooling heat exchanger. Optionally additional precooling heat exchangers, and/or phase separators may be used.
Continuous mixed refrigerant optimization system for the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG)
Systems and methods are provided for adjusting a composition, pressure, and/or flow rate of a mixed refrigerant (MR) fluid in a liquefaction system to provide refrigeration to natural gas (NG) feedstock to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG). The MR fluid that is in circulation within a liquefaction system can include heavy components and light components. During LNG production, heavy components and/or light components of the MR fluid can be selectively removed from, and reintroduce into the MR fluid, thereby altering the composition of the remaining MR fluid in circulation. Adjusting the composition of the MR fluid in circulation within a liquefaction system can allow the system to be optimized to maximize efficiency, LNG production, and or profitability while the system is in operation.
