Disclosed is an apparatus for drying a component transferred in a reel-to-reel method. The apparatus for drying a component transferred in a reel-to-reel method includes an uncoiler and a recoiler, both for transferring the component, a drying chamber disposed between the uncoiler and the recoiler and drying the component, wherein the drying chamber includes an inner space, a transfer roller for transferring the component; an infrared drier for irradiating infrared light toward the component, and a hot air supplier for supplying hot air between the infrared drier and the component.
FEEDING DEVICE OF A BELT DRYING INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A FEEDING DEVICE
A feeding device is provided for a belt drying installation for dump or sewage sludge material dewatered down to a pasty consistency. In the conveying path of the sludge material, a first roller having transverse grooves that are set back relative to the outer diameter of the roller and a guide device are arranged relative to the outer diameter of the first roller such that when the roller is rotated the sludge material is drawn into the transverse grooves and is shaped to elongated extrudates. The first roller is associated with a comb which has teeth that rigidly engage the transverse grooves and which sweeps the extrudates from the transverse grooves, wherein the tips of the teeth which rigidly engage the transverse grooves define a line of engagement. The tooth tips which rigidly engage the transverse grooves are beveled towards the tooth neck.
Variable humidity drying
In one example, a multi-stage hot air dryer in which each successive stage is configured to take in air discharged from a prior stage and discharge it on to an article moving through the dryer from the last stage to the first stage such that the article is exposed to higher humidity air first in the dryer and to lower humidity air last in the dryer.
Method and apparatus for manufacturing natural fiber based staple fibers on a common surface
The application relates to a method and apparatus for manufacturing a natural fiber based staple fibers. The application further relates to the staple fibers, staple fiber based raw wool and products comprising such. A method comprises providing a cellulose suspension (101, 310, 510) including water, refined cellulose fibrils and at least one rheology modifier, directing the cellulose suspension through a nozzle (102, 320, 520) onto a surface (300, 400, 500), drying the cellulose suspension onto the surface (103, 300, 400, 500) for forming a fiber (350, 550), and cutting the cellulose suspension on the surface for forming staple fibers (105).
TREATMENT SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a treatment unit for treating a continuously through-flowing elongate windable element, wherein said unit includes a substantially sealed enclosure for containing a gaseous environment, the enclosure having an inlet port for the continuous ingress of an elongate windable element and an outlet port for the continuous egress of treated elongate windable element, treatment apparatus located within the enclosure, for treating the elongate windable element therein, and a spatial loading system located within the enclosure, for continuous collection of the elongate windable element within the enclosure, and for conveying the elongate windable element from the inlet port to the outlet port.
Drying device and printer incorporating the drying device
A drying device includes a plurality of guide rollers and a heater. The plurality of guide rollers is configured to contact a liquid applied face of a drying target object that is conveyed with liquid applied to the liquid applied face, while the drying target object is dried. The plurality of guide rollers includes at least one guide roller having a surface roughness of from 2 to 8. The heater is configured to heat the drying target object while the plurality of guide rollers guides the drying target object. A printer includes a liquid application device configured to apply liquid to a drying target object, and the drying device.
