Disclosed is an apparatus for drying a component transferred in a reel-to-reel method. The apparatus for drying a component transferred in a reel-to-reel method includes an uncoiler and a recoiler, both for transferring the component, a drying chamber disposed between the uncoiler and the recoiler and drying the component, wherein the drying chamber includes an inner space, a transfer roller for transferring the component; an infrared drier for irradiating infrared light toward the component, and a hot air supplier for supplying hot air between the infrared drier and the component.

In one embodiment a dryer includes a turning device configured to rotate about an axis, and to guide a web of print media. The dryer also includes rollers configured to transport the web from an entrance of the dryer to the turning device. The rollers include a series of three or more rollers positioned in the dryer to consecutively increase an amount of contact area with the web as the web travels toward the turning device.

A method of applying a long lasting wear-resistant coating on a Yankee drying cylinder (1), the method comprises: the step of providing a Yankee drying cylinder (1) having a cylindrical shell (2) with a circular cross-section and an outer surface (3); the step of performing a thermal spray operation to form a wear-resistant coating layer (4) on the outer surface of the Yankee drying cylinder (1) during which thermal spray operation coating feedstock (6) is fed to at least one spray device (5), heated to become plastic and/or semi-molten and/or molten and sprayed onto the outer surface (3) of the Yankee drying cylinder (1) to form the wear-resistant coating layer (4), the coating feedstock (6) for the thermal spray operation consisting of: 1.5 to 2.5 weight percent Al 0.0 to 0.2 weight percent Ti, 9.5 to 10.5 weight percent Si, 0.0 to 0.2 weight percent B, 12.5 to 14.2 weight percent Mo, 0.0 to 0.2 weight percent V, 0.0 to 0.2 weight percent C, 0.000 to 0.020 weight percent Cr, 4.5 to 6.0 weight percent Mn, 0.0 to 0.2 weight percent Mg, 0.0 to 0.2 weight percent Ni, 0.0 to 0.2 weight percent Nb, the remainder being iron and impurities.

DRYER FOR A TEXTILE WEB, WITH IMPROVED HOT-AIR SUPPLY
A dryer for a textile web includes a drying chamber having at least one air-permeable drum arranged in the drying chamber to rotate, wherein the drum includes an end face constituting an axially arranged suction side, the textile web is wrapable at least partially around the drum and heated drying air is flowable through the textile web. A hot gas source provides heated gas. A ventilator forms a suction draft via the suction side of the drum with drying air from inside of the drum and drying air that recirculates back into the drying chamber. At least one hot gas feeding ring encloses the suction draft and is configured to permit the hot gas from the hot gas source to flow essentially completely into the suction draft.

In the conveying path of the sludge material, a first roller having transverse grooves that are set back relative to the outer diameter of the roller and a guide device are arranged relative to the outer diameter of the first roller such that when the roller is rotated the sludge material is drawn into the transverse grooves and is shaped to elongated extrudates. The first roller is associated with a comb which has teeth that rigidly engage the transverse grooves and which sweeps the extrudates from the transverse grooves, wherein the tips of the teeth which rigidly engage the transverse grooves define a line of engagement. The tooth tips which rigidly engage the transverse grooves are beveled towards the tooth neck.

The drying apparatus has at least two stages and a lifting roller arranged between the two stages of the drying apparatus. The continuous track is at its exterior surface coated with the non-stick coating or covered by a medium having the non-stick coating, so that the manufactured cleaning sheet can have active cleaning ingredients therein protected and be easily removed from the continuous track after being dried. The lifting roller between the two stages of the drying apparatus prevents the adhesion between adjacent layers in the rolled cleaning sheet. The intelligent manufacturing system also has an enzyme-adding apparatus for spraying active enzyme that increases cleaning capacity onto the dried cleaning sheet so as to ensure the enzyme to retain good activity.
