A method for drying materials is disclosed. The method comprises introducing a material into a dryer chamber, creating steam from vaporizing moisture in the material by maintaining the chamber at a temperature, conditioning the material using the steam created from vaporing moisture in the material by conveying the material along a length of the chamber from an inlet end to an outlet end, exhausting steam near the inlet end of the chamber, exhausting steam near a dry-end exit end of the chamber, controlling a migration of moisture between the inlet and outlet ends by adjusting an exhaust flow rate near the inlet end of the chamber and/or an exhaust flow rate near the dry-end exit end of the chamber, and withdrawing the material from the chamber.

Provided is an electrode drying apparatus including a moisture supply unit capable of setting the internal temperature of a drying oven to a reference value, which is a level at which the drying of an electrode to be dried is stabilized, before an electrode drying process using hot air is started, thereby preventing the electrode from being fractured by over-drying at the early stage of drying the electrode in the drying oven, and an electrode drying method using the same.

Shoe dryer and control method thereof

A shoe dryer including a main body, a shoe receiver provided inside the main body and configured to receive a shoe, a blower configured to blow air toward the shoe received in the shoe receiving portion, a camera configured to obtain an image of the shoe by photographing the shoe received in the shoe receiver, and a control device configured to recognize information about the shoe from the image of the shoe obtained by the camera, and control a direction of air blown by the blower based on the information about the shoe.

Heating device and heating method, each of which uses superheated steam

A heating device includes a hermetic container configured to accommodate a heatable object, a nozzle that supplies superheated steam into the hermetic container, a partition plate that separates a supplying region for the superheated steam from a heating region where the heatable object is heated in the hermetic container, an opening arranged in the partition plate, the opening allowing the superheated steam to be blown from the supplying region toward the heatable object in the heating region, an electric heater that heats the superheated steam in the supplying region, and a circulation mechanism that circulates the superheated steam from the supplying region to the heating region.

PELLET DRYING AND DEGASSING METHOD

Method for the preparation of dried polymer pellets in a facility having a dryer with a first chamber and a mechanical agitator, and the facility further having a degassing silo with a second chamber, the method includes the steps of guiding a drying gas flow made from or containing a first gas mixture for drying wet polymer pellets into the first chamber, transferring the dried polymer pellets into the second chamber, guiding a second gas mixture for degassing the dried polymer pellets into the second chamber thereby transforming the second gas mixture into a third gas mixture and guiding a portion of the third gas mixture into the first chamber; and process for manufacturing LDPE pellets.

An apparatus for drying materials is disclosed. The apparatus has a chamber which is heated to a temperature sufficient to vaporize the water in the material into steam. The dryer is configured to utilize the steam produced from the material to condition the material. The dryer has two exhaust stacks positioned at opposing ends of the dryer. The removal of exhaust steam at the two opposing ends of the dryer facilitates the migration of moisture within the chamber along a length of the dryer between the two ends. The exhaust stacks can be controlled and adjusted based on feedback from a plurality of pressure differential transmitters installed within the chamber. Methods for drying materials are also disclosed.
