A light irradiation unit includes a substrate having a longitudinal direction, the longitudinal direction being a first axis direction; multiple light sources arranged along the first axis direction on a first surface of the substrate; a heat dissipation member arranged on a second surface of the substrate opposite to the first surface; and a housing having a pair of first side surfaces holding the heat dissipation member therebetween in a second axis direction orthogonal to the first axis direction along the first surface. The substrate has, at an end portion in the first axis direction, an end surface intersecting the first axis direction. The location of the end surface in the first axis direction is near an edge of the first side surface along the first axis direction. The end surface is exposed from the housing or covered by a detachable protection member.

UV LED CURING APPARATUS
A UV LED curing apparatus can have an inner casing having a plurality of planes formed at a reflective angle with an outer casing detachably attached to the inner casing. The outer casing and the inner casing can define a space suitable for receiving an ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diode (LED) light source therein which can include a plurality of LED modules and at least one LED module arranged on two or more planes. An adjustable arm can be pivotally coupled with the outer casing at a proximal end and extend a predetermined distance to a distal end having a second UV LED light source including a second plurality of LED modules coupled therewith. A switch controller electrically connected to the UV LED light source and/or the second UV LED light source controlling an on-off state of the UV LED light source and/or the second UV LED light source.

A UV LED curing apparatus can have an inner casing having a plurality of planes formed at a reflective angle with an outer casing detachably attached to the inner casing. The outer casing and the inner casing can define a space suitable for receiving an ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diode (LED) light source therein which can include a plurality of LED modules and at least one LED module arranged on two or more planes. An adjustable arm can be pivotally coupled with the outer casing at a proximal end and extend a predetermined distance to a distal end having a second UV LED light source including a second plurality of LED modules coupled therewith. A switch controller electrically connected to the UV LED light source and/or the second UV LED light source controlling an on-off state of the UV LED light source and/or the second UV LED light source.

A length portion of the transportation surface passes within or below the heating chamber so that thermal energy associated with the solar radiation is transferred to the bulk material by direct impingement or by reflection or re-irradiation by internal surfaces or walls of the heating chamber.

A device for controlling the temperature of workpieces, in particular for drying vehicle bodies, having a housing, a temperature-controlling tunnel accommodated in the housing, and a temperature-controlling system for controlling the temperature of workpieces. The temperature-controlling system includes a full-space temperature-controlling device which can control the temperature of a workpiece as a whole, and a local temperature-controlling device which can control the temperature of locally delimited regions of the workpiece and which comprises multiple temperature-controlling units that can be activated and actuated independently of one another for this purpose. The full-space temperature-controlling device and the local temperature-controlling device are provided in the temperature-controlling tunnel such that a workpiece at least within an active section in the temperature-controlling tunnel can be under the influence of both the full-space temperature-controlling device as well as the local temperature-controlling device. A system and a method for controlling the temperature of workpieces are additionally provided.
