CVD REACTOR WITH A MULTI-ZONE HEATED PROCESS CHAMBER
A device, system and method for depositing crystalline layers on at least one crystalline substrate is described. The disclosure includes the use of a multi zone heater, the multi zone heater is disposed between a reactor housing and a process chamber. The multi zone heater has different electrical properties along its length, whereby the multi zone heater when heated by eddy currents induced by an RF field generated by a RF heating coil provides a temperature profile inside the multi zone heater that varies along the length of the multi zone heater for heating the process chamber.
APPARATUS FOR HEATING A METAL BILLET
An apparatus for heating a metal billet such as a billet of non-ferrous metal, includes a frame, a heating container having a longitudinal billet receiving inner space, and at least one heater element configured to heat the heating container. The heating container is divided along parting surfaces into parts. The parts are movable arranged with respect to each other. Each part has a contact surface facing the longitudinal billet receiving inner space. Each part has at least one heater element configured to heat the part.
INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE FOR METAL STRIP
An induction heating device for a metal strip, including: an induction coil provided on one side or on both sides of a front face side or a reverse face side of a metal strip, and that induces an induction current in the strip when a primary current is passed through the coil, the induction current configuring a closed loop as viewed from a direction perpendicular to a metal strip face; plural magnetic cores disposed at a specific position, this being a position at a back face side of the coil and separated from the strip by a specific distance, to concentrate magnetic flux generated by the coil in the strip; and a moving mechanism coupled to the magnetic cores, and that moves the cores to increase or decrease a disposed number of the cores at the specific position disposed side-by-side along a metal strip width direction.
Oven for carrying out heat treatments of friction elements, in particular brake pads, and associated method
A tunnel oven and associated method for the heat treatment of friction elements, and in particular braking elements such as brake pads is provided. The friction elements are arranged on a resting surface of a conveyor device, are moved between an inlet opening and an outlet opening of the tunnel oven, and are heated by irradiation by at least one heating device. The heating device includes a radiating plate made from stainless steel arranged facing the conveyor device and heated by electromagnetic induction using at least one inductor arranged facing the radiating plate and spaced apart therefrom on the side opposite to the conveyor device. A cooling air flow for the braking elements between the resting surface and the radiating plate is directed in counterflow to a feeding direction of the conveyor device.
Method and furnace installation for heat treating metal strip
A method for heat-treating a metal strip, where the metal strip is pre-heated continuously in a pre-heating zone with the aid of hot gas and subsequently undergoes further heat treatment in a directly fired furnace in a reducing and/or oxidizing atmosphere. The metal strip is pre-heated in the pre-heating zone with hot inert gas and further heated with an electric heating system before entering the directly fired furnace. A furnace plant for implementing the process and a related heat recovery system are also disclosed.
APPARATUS FOR HEATING METAL PRODUCTS
Apparatus for heating metal products, able to heat by electromagnetic induction at least one metal product positioned in a heating chamber and mobile in a direction of feed, in which said heating apparatus comprises one or more heating coils positioned in a ring around said heating chamber and said metal product to be heated; said one or more heating coils are positioned substantially transversely to the direction of feed of the metal product and are able to generate a magnetic field having a direction substantially parallel or coincident to the direction of feed of the product to be heated and directed in the same direction as said direction of feed of the product to be heated; said heating apparatus also comprises at least one heat shield positioned between said one or more heating coils and the metal product to be heated; said heat shield comprises walls provided with blocks of thermal and electric insulating material and positioned around the metal product to be heated and also comprises cooling pipes positioned in said walls and configured to allow the flow of at least one cooling fluid.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR THE DRYING TREATMENT OF AN INDUCTOR
An apparatus for the off-line drying treatment, or dry out, of an inductor for billets that includes a coil and a protection body made of refractory material that defines a transit channel for the billets.
INDUCTOR AND CORRESPONDING MAINTENANCE METHOD
An inductor to heat, by electromagnetic induction, an electrically conductive body, including an induction body, hollow inside, suitable to generate an electromagnetic field, the internal surface of which defines a containing seating, disposed through in a longitudinal direction.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A STEEL BLANK AND TEMPERATURE-ADJUSTING STATION
A method and a device for adjusting the temperature of steel blanks, such that a plurality of temperature-adjusting stations are used in order to heat the steel blanks in stages with low temperature gradients.
OVEN FOR CARRYING OUT HEAT TREATMENTS OF FRICTION ELEMENTS, IN PARTICULAR BRAKE PADS, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A tunnel oven and associated method for the heat treatment of friction elements, and in particular of braking elements such as brake pads is provided. The friction elements are arranged on a resting surface of a conveyor device, are moved between an inlet opening and an outlet opening of the tunnel oven, and are heated by irradiation by at least one heating device. The heating device includes a radiating plate made from stainless steel arranged facing the conveyor device and heated by electromagnetic induction by means of at least one inductor arranged facing the radiating plate and spaced apart therefrom on the side opposite to the conveyor device. A cooling air flow for the braking elements between the resting surface and the radiating plate is directed in counterflow to a feeding direction of the conveyor device.
