Tube and chamber heat exchange apparatus having a medium directing assembly with enhanced medium directing panels
A heat exchanger with a chamber assembly, having a medium directing assembly disposed within. The medium directing assembly provided with a first and a second medium directing panel member, each respectively a planar panel member having a first side and a second side. A heat exchange medium introduced into the chamber assembly in an initial line of flow is vertically diverted into two flows to impact the first side of the first and the second medium directing panel member separately. Each diverted heat exchange medium is then further diverted into a pair of divergent arcuate lateral flow, wherein each lateral flow is directed to impact the lateral sides of the chamber assembly. On the respective second sides of the first and the second medium directing panel member, laterally diverted heat exchange medium is directed to collide into each other, where the pair of laterally diverted flows are subsequently merged.
Flat tube heat exchanger with a separator
A heat exchange device includes a core and a housing. The core includes a first collecting part and a second collecting part, and a flat tube part is provided between the two. The flat tube part includes a first flat tube group and a second flat tube group. The first collecting part includes first and second collecting portions, and a separator is formed between the two. Each flat tube of the first flat tube group is communicated with the collecting cavity of the first collecting portion. The collecting cavity of the first collecting portion is communicated with the collecting cavity of the second collecting portion through the first flat tube group, the collecting cavity of the second collecting part, and the second flat tube group.
Cooling device
A cooling device includes a cooler disposed inside a shell main body formed in a cylindrical shape, and having a first surface facing an inlet nozzle and an outlet nozzle, and a partition member fixed to the first surface, and partitioning a portion between the cooler and an inner peripheral surface of the shell main body into a first space communicating with the inlet nozzle and a second space communicating with the outlet nozzle. The partition member includes a main partition plate disposed between the inlet nozzle and the outlet nozzle in an axial direction, a first guide portion extending from an end portion of the main partition plate toward a first end surface of the shell main body, and a second guide portion extending from an end portion of the main partition plate toward a second end surface of the shell main body.
A HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising: a first conduit for a first fluid, comprising a first manifold, a second manifold, and a plurality of tubes arranged in at least two parallel stacks having a first terminal tube and a second terminal tube opposite to the first terminal tube, the tubes being fluidly connected with the first manifold and the second manifold to provide at least one U-turn for the first fluid; a second conduit for a second fluid comprising a housing body arranged to at least partially encapsulate the first conduit, wherein the second conduit is fluidly isolated from the first conduit and, a baffle plate deployed in-between the stacks of the tubes and the manifolds, enabling a U-turn of the second fluid in the vicinity of the first manifold, characterised in that, the baffle plate comprises a first restricting member protruding towards the first manifold, configured to partially limit the U-turn of the second fluid at the level of the first terminal tubes of the stacks.
Heat exchanger tubes and tube assembly configurations
A water heater can include a baffle and a slab heat exchanger with at least two rows of heat exchanger tubes, each row comprising a plurality of heat exchanger tubes. At least one of the heat exchanger tubes comprises a tube and a plurality of fins on the exterior of the tube circumscribing the tube, wherein the outer edge of each fin of the plurality of fins is bent at least at the same three areas of each fin such that the bends form at least three flat or concave areas running along the length of the heat exchanger tube.
