A firearm security device includes a base assembly, a first plate connected to the base assembly, a retention post attached to the first plate, and a second plate. The first end of the retention post is connected to the first plate and the second end is configured to be inserted into a trigger well of a firearm. The second end includes a forward portion, a rearward portion, and a channel that separates the forward and rearward portions. The channel is configured to receive a firearm trigger. The second plate is moveable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The firearm security device includes a locking assembly that selectively locks and unlocks the second plate. The retention post is configured to transfer force away from the trigger guard and to the receiver in the event an external force is applied to a firearm locked between the plates.

The bracket, including a front plate and a tail, is configured for partial insertion into the shell ejection slot. The tail is disposed at an acute angle relative to the front plate and comprises a first aperture configured for insertion of the cable. A method of securing a firearm includes inserting a tail of a bracket into the shell ejection slot so that a front plate of the bracket remains outside the shell ejection slot, inserting a first end of a cable through a first aperture of the tail, and retaining the first end of the cable in a notch of a firearm holder.

A modular cleaning, display, and storage rack for firearms is disclosed for holding or displaying one or more pistols. The firearms rack can hold one or more pistols for cleaning and/or displaying. The firearms rack can also be folded flat for easy storage and/or transport. Multiple racks can be nested or stacked together and occupy less space than a single rack. The rack includes a base, and a plurality of support rods disposed in a spaced apart relation and hingedly operable relative to the base. In an open condition, the plurality of support rods are angularly disposed above a top surface of the base. The firearm is supported on the support rod by insertion of the support rod into the barrel of the firearm. In a closed position, the plurality of support rods are oriented such that they are substantially aligned with a back surface of the base.

The holster is engaged to a respective opposed face of the panel. A firearm can be inserted into the holster so that the firearm is engaged to the panel. An article of clothing, such as a coat or a jacket, can be hung from the clothes hanger to conceal the firearm.
