Linear crossbow
A linear crossbow operates in a linear manner parallel to an arrow flight path. The linear crossbow includes a plurality of limbs and a rotatable string let out assembly. The limbs include free ends that are drawn towards the rotatable string let out assembly as a drawstring is pulled rearward. The limbs power the drawstring to propel an arrow along the arrow flight path from a front end of the crossbow.
Archery Sighting Device for a Mechanical Release
A sighting device for a bow which attaches to a release mechanism being used with said bow. The sighting device includes a sighting assembly, a positioning-and-orienting arm with multiple degrees of freedom, and a mounting clamp. The sighting assembly includes an annular plate, a sight eyepiece, and a support arm. The sight eyepiece is oriented normal to the annular plate and is positioned within a lateral boundary that is defined as an extension of an inner wall of the annular plate. The support arm is swivelably and adjacently connected to the annular plate and holds the sight eyepiece in place. A first end of the positioning-and-orienting arm is adjacently attached to the annular plate and a second of the positioning-and-orienting arm is attached to the mounting clamp. The mounting clamp is attached to the release mechanism, thus positioning the sighting assembly directly in front of the user's eye.
Archery release
An archery release that includes, in one embodiment, a tension activated wrist strap index finger trigger release is provided. The trigger release includes a housing, a tension release assembly, and a trigger assembly. The tension release assembly is configured to alternate between a first state when the pulling force is below a predetermined threshold and a second state when the pulling force is above a predetermined threshold. The trigger assembly is configured to selectively activate the tension release assembly.
Crossbow cocking apparatus
A cocking mechanism is disclosed. The cocking mechanism comprises an actuator assembly, a hand crank assembly, and a bow string hook assembly. The actuator assembly further comprises clutch assembly having a bearing housing, a bearing cage, a support axle and bearing elements. The bearing housing is defined by an inner peripheral surface having a plurality of inwardly extending annular ramps, wherein the bearing elements contact a portion of the ramps to prevent rotation of the support axle in a first direction, but allows for rotation of the support axle in a second direction when the actuator assembly is in a locked configuration. This provides for immediate braking action against any unforeseen forward motion of the bow string of a crossbow such as when inadvertently or accidently releasing the removable hand crank assembly during the cocking operation.
CROSSBOW WITH MOVABLE TRIGGER LATCH BLOCK
A crossbow with a movable trigger latch block. The crossbow has a trigger latch block slidingly connected to the flight track. The trigger latch block is configured to engage and retain the bowstring. A cocking mechanism is configured to draw the trigger latch block with the bowstring from an initial position near a forward end of the flight track to a cocked position. A one-way retention mechanism is configured to immobilize the trigger latch block against linear movement in a forward direction along the flight track. A trigger-traverse mechanism is configured to slide the trigger latch block in a forward direction to its initial position after the bowstring is released.
Gear-based archery limb control system and method having a motion generator
An archery limb control system, method and bow are described herein. The archery limb control system, in an embodiment, includes a motion generator configured to be supported by an archery bow, and the system includes one or more flexible lines configured to be coupled to the limbs of the bow. The system also includes a support configured to support the one or more flexible lines, and the system includes a gear coupled to the support.
ARCHERY HOOK ENGAGER AND METHOD FOR ARCHERY RELEASE DEVICES
An archery hook engager includes, in an embodiment, a first portion defining a first opening configured to receive a pivot member of an archery release device. The archery release device has a body, a carriage, and a hook pivotally coupled to the carriage. The pivot member is coupled to the carriage. The archery hook engager also includes a second portion configured to define a second opening that has an opening dimension. The second opening is configured to receive a stopper that is coupled to the body. The stopper includes a stopper dimension. There is difference between the opening dimension and the stopper dimension that results in a gap between the second portion and the stopper. Furthermore, the archery hook engager includes a hook interface portion configured to be engaged with a hook engagement portion of the hook.
ARCHERY TRIGGER ADJUSTER AND METHOD FOR ARCHERY RELEASE DEVICES
An archery trigger adjuster includes, in an embodiment, a tool interface portion configured to interface with a portion of an adjustment tool. The archery trigger adjuster also includes a repositioning portion coupled to the tool interface portion. The repositioning portion includes an exterior surface configured to engage a trigger surface of a trigger of an archery release device. The exterior surface has an asymmetrical shape.
Device and systems for a semi-automatic crossbow
The disclosed technology includes a semi-automatic crossbow having a stock, a plurality of limbs, a drawstring, a bolt feeder, a barrel, a draw assembly, and a release. The draw assembly can be configured to automatically move the drawstring to a cocked position and the release can include a trigger and be configured to release the drawstring when the trigger is actuated. The disclosed technology can further include a truck configured to engage the drawstring and a bolt such that the bolt can be propelled forward by the truck when the drawstring is released by the release.
ARCHERY RELEASE AID MOUNT
An archery release aid mount includes an attachment mechanism configured to rigidly attach the archery release aid to a bow. A securing device is configured to receive an archery release aid. The securing device includes a securing device that upon the archery release aid mount receiving the archery release aid, holds the archery release aid securely, and that is configured to allow a user to without tools remove the archery release aid from the archery release aid mount when the user wants to use the archery release aid during archery.
