A third flexible material is disposed about the palm and underside of finger sections of the glove, said third flexible material having a third coefficient of friction, wherein the third coefficient of friction is less than the coefficient of friction of the first and second materials. The second semi-rigid material forms a back having at least four lateral sides disposed about a back side of the glove and is coupled to the first flexible material about three sides of the back cover.

There may also be a protective section, located on the glove covering the back of the hand of the user, made of a second material that has a high weight-to-strength value, coupled to the palm section and positioned so that a broken arrow being shot from a bow will have a higher likely hood of hitting the protective section than hitting areas not having the protective section.

Safety wrist strap for a crossbow crank handle

A safety device for a crossbow includes a wrist strap with a crank aperture in a palm portion thereof, and is secured around a user's wrist with the crank aperture over the palm of the user's hand. The crank aperture allows passage therethrough of a shaft of a crossbow crank, but prevents passage of a handle; wearing the wrist strap, the user can grasp the handle with the shaft extending through the crank aperture away from the palm of the user's hand. The wrist strap can be divided at its dorsal-wrist portion and include a closure to allow the wrist strap to be secured around or removed from the user's wrist as desired. Restraint of the crank handle by the crank aperture prevents uncontrolled spinning of the crossbow crank.

A finger sling assembly used with an archery bow includes a first finger loop for engaging within a user's finger and a second finger loop for engaging within the user's thumb. A connecting member joins the first finger loop and second finger loop together a predetermined distance from one another. A fastening strip is sized to be positioned though the first finger loop and second figure loop, for fixedly attaching the first finger loop and second finger loop to an archery bow. A multi-layered orthotic is used for fastening to the bow's riser. The finger sling assembly increases shooting accuracy of the archer as it prevents rotational torque of the user's wrist when tightly gripping the bow and drawing string.
