A system for supporting a firearm in a generally vertical position includes a stock support member to support the stock of the firearm, a first fastening element operatively connectable to a user, and a second fastening element mountable with respect to the firearm. The system is configured such that the first and second fastening elements remain engaged when the firearm is in the generally vertical position so that the firearm is supported only by the fastening elements and the stock support member, but automatically disengage when the firearm is moved to a generally horizontal position for firing.
HOLSTER BELT FOR CARRYING A HANDGUN HOLSTER
A holster belt is configured to support a holster and a handgun combination. The holster belt has a belt portion defining an inner layer and an outer layer comprising an elastic material. The holster belt further has a closure and a holster engagement strip, wherein the holster engagement strip is rigid and is configured to support a holster and a handgun combination, wherein the holster comprises a holster body configured for receiving the handgun and a belt clip, wherein the holster engagement strip is configured to be sized for engagement with the belt clip of the holster.
Dynamically expandable rigid waistband system
A dynamically expandable rigid waistband system includes one or more rigid belt portions coupled to an expandable and adjustable waistband portion. The ends of one or more rigid belt portions are movably coupled to form a dynamically adjustable rigid belt ring. The dynamically adjustable rigid belt ring can expand or contract as the movably coupled ends of the one or more rigid belt portions move relative to each other by greater or smaller amounts. The dynamically adjustable rigid belt ring is then coupled to the expandable and adjustable waistband portion so that when the expandable and adjustable waistband portion expands or contracts, the dynamically adjustable rigid belt ring similarly expands or contracts to provide the comfort, range of motion, and adaptability of an expandable and adjustable waistband as well as a rigid structure for attaching devices safely and securely to the waistband.
