Stowable effector launch system
An effector launch system includes a stowable effector launcher housing having a housing panel configured for coupling with a vehicle, and one or more receptacle brackets movably coupled with the housing panel. The one or more receptacle brackets include one or more effector launcher sockets. The launch system further includes one or more effector launchers. Each effector launcher includes an effector received within an adapter housing. The stowable effector launcher housing is movable between deployed and stowed configurations. In the deployed configuration the one or more receptacle brackets extend from the housing panel and the one or more effector launchers are received within the one or more effector launcher sockets. In the stowed configuration the one or more effector launchers are removed from the one or more effector launcher sockets and the one or more receptacle brackets are stowed along the housing panel.

Missile launcher system for reload at sea
A missile launcher is provided for ship integration. In particular, the missile launcher affords a simple and safe integration onto a surface, such as a deck of a naval vessel, for example. The missile launcher includes a box launcher to house and launch the missiles and a pedestal to support and orient the box launcher. The box launcher provides protection from the natural environment as well as protection from other threats to the system. The box launcher is designed to enable missiles not normally designed for use in a harsh environment to be used in such an environment. The missile launcher also enables loading of missiles while at sea. The missile launcher can be integrated into naval vessels, land vehicles, fixed locations and other installations, as needed.
Launch piston brake
A launcher for launching a projectile includes a launch piston for engaging and driving the projectile from the launcher and a launch brake that constrains the piston to enable separation of the piston from the projectile. The launch brake is configured to have minimal to no effect on projectile exit velocity and exit trajectory from the launcher. The launch brake is also configured to reduce the velocity of the launch piston via coupling of the masses of the launch piston and the launch brake. The coupling allows, separation of the projectile from the launch piston and reduces or prevents a negative effect on stabilization of the projectile upon exit from the launcher.

Over penetration inhibiting and retaining mechanism
A retaining mechanism which may be launched to capture an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or the like. A projectile deploys dampener arms to stop projectile penetration into the target while forward retention arms deploy to prevent a backward removal from the target. The firmly embedded mechanism might feature tracking means or destruction means, or the target may be pulled away by the tether to be evaluated for information.
Launch tube restraint system for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)
An unmanned aerial launch vehicle (UAV) launch apparatus is disclosed that includes a UAV having an exterior surface, an aerial vehicle (AV) tab extending from the exterior surface, a tube containing the UAV, the tube including a tab stop configured to controllably hinder travel of the AV tab past the tab stop, and a pair of opposing tab guides configured to position the AV tab for travel over the tab stop.

Tube to bulkhead bonded joint design
A tube to bulkhead joint is provided. The joint includes a bulkhead defining an aperture and comprising an interior facing sidewall at the aperture, a tubular element, which is insertible into the aperture, the tubular element including an end sized to fit into the aperture and slotted to form multiple deflectable fingers, and adhesive disposable between at least the multiple deflectable fingers and the interior facing sidewall of the aperture.
Marksman launcher system architecture
An effector launching system includes an environment that has external components located within the environment. The effector launching system may include a modular controller located in the environment of an effector launching system and the external components may be located in the environment externally to the modular controller for executing an effector launching sequence. The modular controller may include a core processor module that is configured to execute a plurality of different effector launching sequences using the external components and a plurality of converting modules that each have an electro-mechanical interface and is connectable between the core processor module and one of the external components. The plurality of converting modules are configured to send and receive data with the core processor module and the plurality of external components.
