Sight display device and method for manufacturing sight display device
A transparent thin film electroluminescent display device includes a first transparent thin film electroluminescent display having a substrate and a first active layer capable of emitting a spectrum of light in a wavelength of visible light. The transparent thin film electroluminescent display device further includes a second transparent thin film electroluminescent display having a substrate and a second active layer, the first and second transparent thin film electroluminescent displays being arranged in a superposed manner such that the first and second active layers are spaced apart from each other for forming the transparent thin film electroluminescent display device with a superposed structure.
AUTOMATIC MULTI-LASER BORE-SIGHTING FOR RIFLE MOUNTED CLIP-ON FIRE CONTROL SYSTEMS
A multi-laser bore-sighting riflescope system can receive a first laser beam having a first wavelength and a second laser beam having a second wavelength smaller than the first wavelength. The system can detect reflected light from the first laser beam. The system can calculate an initial range to a target. The system can determine a ballistics solution. The system can find a ballistics aimpoint. Further, the system can illuminate a display of a riflescope display assembly (RDA). The system can mark the ballistics aimpoint with an electronic reticle on the display. The system can redirect the first laser beam to the ballistics aimpoint. The system can redirect the second laser to the ballistics aimpoint. The system can detect secondary reflected laser light from the first laser beam. The system can calculate a secondary range to the target.
LIGHT SOURCE WITH A GAS-TIGHT HOLLOW BODY
A light source (1), which has a hollow body (2) closed in a gas-tight manner, which is coated on at least one inner side with a phosphor and is filled with gaseous tritium and emits colored light, the hollow body (2) being arranged in a housing (3) of the light source (1), the light source (1) having at least one body (4) of a colored material which annularly encircles a longitudinal center axis of the light source (1) and the color of which is different from black in daylight, the annularly encircling body (4) being arranged at least on a terminal end region of the housing (3) or at least between the terminal end region of the housing (3) and a light-emitting end face of the hollow body (2).
Optical targeting device
An optical targeting device comprised of a support body, an imaging waveguide joined to and in a position relative to the support body, and a light source mounted on the support body. The imaging waveguide is comprised of an input diffractive optic, and an output diffractive optic. The light source is located to direct a targeting light beam to the input diffractive optic of the imaging waveguide. In operation of the optical targeting device, the imaging waveguide simultaneously transmits incoming light from a scene viewable by a user of the device through the light transmissive body, and propagates the targeting light beam from the input diffractive optic laterally through the light transmissive body and directs the targeting light beam outwardly from the output diffractive optic, thereby rendering the targeting light beam as a point of light superimposed within the scene viewable by the user.
Gunsight With Elongate Light Collector
A sighting device, such as a gunsight, includes a support. The support includes a surface. The surface has a surface first section and a surface second section. The surface second section forms a curve. A hollow is delimited by the support surface. An access into the hollow is delimited by the support surface. An elongate light collector has a first section connected to a curved second section. The collector further includes a terminal connected to the second section. Also an illuminating surface of the collector resides at the first section. The light collector first section lies on and along the surface first section. The light collector second section lies on and along said curve of the second section. A light generating source resides in the hollow.
Phosphorescent fiber optic sight system
A phosphorescent sight system is provided comprising a rear sight for disposition along a proximal portion of a slide substrate of a firearm and a front sight for disposition along a distal portion of the slide substrate. The sight system may further comprise an optical waveguide disposed within a waveguide cavity of the rear sight or the front sight. Further, a phosphorescent element may be disposed adjacent a proximal portion of the optical waveguide.
WEAPON SYSTEM WITH MULTI-FUNCTION SINGLE-VIEW SCOPE
Certain aspects of a novel weapon sight system combine a direct view, a visible light video view, and an infrared (IR) video view mode. Each of the view modes may be viewed individually or simultaneously with one or more of the other view modes through a single viewing aperture. Further, the one or more view-modes may be provided while providing a bore-sighted reticle superimposed on the selected view. Further, the reticle may be powered separately from the video view electronics enabling use of the reticle regardless of the power status video view electronics.
Weapon sight
An open sight for use on weapons such as handguns is disclosed. The open sight features two rear aiming marks mounted in the rear sight and a third aiming mark in the front sight. The aiming marks are illuminated by one or more artificial light sources disposed within the rear sight. The artificial light sources project light forward to the front sight and illuminate the rear aiming marks. The front sight is dimensioned to substantially block the forward directed beam to reduce the visibility of the illumination forward of the weapon.
Archery scope and accessories
An optical sighting assembly including an improved scope body and detachable accessories is presented. The accessories can be magnetically attachable to the scope body and can include a lens cartridge, a light pack, power pack and/or an alignment ring. The lens cartridge can be keyed to be installed at a predetermined rotational orientation, and the lens cartridge can hold a small diameter lens. Lenses can include a fluorescent aiming point that can fluoresce due to ambient light and/or when illuminated by an LED. The light pack can include the LED, a power source, and a control interface for adjusting light output. Alternatively, the LED can be integrated into the scope body, and a battery pack can include a power source and a control interface for the LED.
Weapon sight light emission system
A light emission assembly for weapon sights which provides a viewable illuminated aiming indicia of substantially fixed area and uniform brightness regardless of the ambient light conditions.
