Apparatus for feeding tube elements, rock drilling rig and method of supporting drill hole openings
An apparatus for feeding a tubular object inside a drill hole, a rock drilling rig and a method of supporting mouth openings of drill holes is provided. The apparatus includes a support device for supporting an elongated tube element blank having the potential for several successive tube inserts. A front end of the tube element blank is moved longitudinally inside a drill hole by means of a feeding device. Thereby, the drill hole is provided with a protective section extending a limited longitudinal dimension towards a bottom of the drill hole. The apparatus further includes a separation device for detaching the mentioned tube inserts one by one from the tube element blank.
Blasting technique
A method of mining in a rock formation, includes drilling blastholes extending into the rock formation. Each of the blastholes has a depth between a first end and a second end. For each blasthole the second end thereof is deeper into the rock formation than the first end thereof. The method further includes loading the blastholes with alternating layers of explosives charges and stemming material to establish a succession of blasting decks or sections extending across and within the rock formation. The rock formation includes at least a first blasting deck or section and a second blasting deck or section.

YIELDABLE CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR EARLY RELEASING SURROUNDING ROCK DEFORMATION ON WEAK COUNTER-INCLINED SLOPE
The present invention provides a yieldable construction method for early releasing surrounding rock deformation on a weak toppling slope, thereby reducing surrounding rock toppling deformation risk in and after an excavation process and ensuring overall slope stability and safety of a supporting structure. A technical solution of the present invention is as follows: loosing a rock mass through controlled blasting; inducing toppling deformation of the slope by injecting water and softening a blasting relaxation part of the rock mass; determining timing of water injection by monitoring slope surface displacement characteristics of the slope; and performing a normal excavation process of the toppling deformation slope after injecting is completed. The present invention is applicable to design and construction of high slope engineering of a special kind of rocks, i.e., a toppling deformation slope composed of weak rock masses.

ROCK DRILLING UNIT AND METHOD FOR CHARGING DRILLED HOLES
A rock drilling unit and method for charging drilled holes. The rock drilling unit includes a feed system for feeding initiators and rock breaking material into the drilled holes. The rock drilling unit is also provided with one or more communicating devices for communicating with the wireless initiators.
Apparatus and method for electromechanically connecting a plurality of guns for well perforation
A perforation gun having a modified pin end for positioning a blast shield between adjacent guns, the blast shield electrically joining movable contact pins and propagating firing signals between while protecting against blast forces from previous explosions. The perforation guns also having a wiring port in the charge carrier and alignment pin for opening and adding detonation circuitry at time of use, positioned within the charge carrier where it is protected from damages caused by rough handling, flooding, vibrations, and blast forces.
Sliced and elliptical head probe for plasma blast applications
A system and apparatus for plasma blasting comprises a borehole, with a novel blast probe, the probe comprising a high voltage electrode and a ground casing tube separated by a dielectric separator except for an evacuated area where the plasma blast occurs, wherein the opening in the ground casing and the dielectric separator constitute a sliced and elliptical probe shape. The sliced and elliptical shape of the opening focuses a plasma blast in a specific direction and contours, wherein at least a portion of the high voltage electrode and the ground electrode are submerged in the blast media. The blasting media comprises water alone or in combination with other materials. The sliced and elliptical blast probe permit directional aiming of the blast.

Robust Plasma Blast Probe Tip
A system and apparatus for plasma blasting comprises a borehole, with a novel blast probe, the probe comprising a high voltage electrode and a ground casing tube with a ground and/or electrode deflector. The ground and/or electrode deflector focuses a plasma blast through openings in the probe, directing the blast force away from the ends of the probe, wherein at least a portion of the high voltage electrode and the ground electrode are submerged in the blast media. The blasting media comprises water alone or in combination with other materials. The robust blast probe permits the aiming of the blast outside of the probe.
