A flowmeter apparatus is for determining a volumetric flowrate for a well flow out from a wellbore, by means of a mass flowmeter, which is configured for receiving well flow and for measuring a mass flow rate of the well flow. At least one mass density measuring apparatus, is fluidly connected to the mass flowmeter upstream of a first inlet or downstream of a first outlet, or both. The mass flow rate of the well flow can be measured using a measuring wheel rotatably arranged below a funnel second section arranged to receive at least a portion of the well flow. A system for determining a volumetric flowrate for a well flow out from a wellbore includes the flowmeter apparatus arranged on a platform, rig, vessel, or other topside location, and connected between a riser and downstream processing equipment.

GROUND MARKING BEAD FLOW SENSOR
20230123506 · 2023-04-20 ·

A bead flow sensor module includes a housing, a beam, and a sensor. The beam extends into a flow channel of the housing through which a flow of beads and compressed air flows. The sensor outputs a signal indicative of bead impacts on the beam. A system incorporating the bead flow sensor module includes a compressed air source, a bead hopper, and a bead dispenser. The compressed air source delivers a flow of compressed air to the bead hopper. A flow of beads carried by the compressed air discharges from the bead hopper along a flow pathway connecting the bead hopper to the bead dispenser. The bead flow sensor module positioned along the flow pathway outputs the signal from which a bead flow volume through the bead dispenser is determined.

FLOW GAUGE AND FLOW GAUGE SCALE ASSEMBLY

A flow gauge scale assembly includes a first scale and a second scale. The first scale is configured to be disposed in a first radial position on a generally cylindrical flow tube through which a ball can move to indicate a flow rate of a flow of gas. The second scale is configured to be disposed in a second radial position that will be at least partially optically misaligned from the first scale when the flow gauge scale assembly is installed in the generally cylindrical flow tube.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR TRANSFERRING FRAGILE ITEMS AT SELECTIVELY VARIABLE FLOW RATES

An apparatus for vertical transfer of whole nuts from a first elevation to a second, lower elevation includes a run extending between an entrance and an exit, and having a plurality of alternatingly arranged conveying panels between the entrance and the exit. Each conveying panel is inclined at approximately 30 degrees to horizontal and has a variable effective conveying width. The apparatus further includes arcuate turn-arounds disposed between respective conveying panels to facilitate transferring the nuts from one conveying panel to the next lower conveying panel. The variable effective conveying width is selected based on a predetermined mass flow rate of nuts such that whole nuts move along the run in a continuous stream without tumbling, and wherein each nut is in contact with adjacent nuts in its respective layer.

Delay management for geospatial crop yield mapping

Systems and methods for geospatial yield mapping by managing and modeling a system-based delay between crop location and crop sensing. The system stores a plurality of yield rate values indicative of crop yield detected by a sensor and a plurality of geospatial location values as time sequence data sets. The system then maps a yield rate value to a geospatial location value by determining an offset indicative of a total delay time from when the crop is cut from the field to when the crop is detected by the yield sensor. In some implementations, the delay value is determined as an integer multiple of a defined sampling frequency and is determined as a sum of a plurality of delay component values each indicative of a portion of the total delay time associated with a different one of a plurality of component systems of the crop harvester.

An object of the present invention is to provide an impact flowmeter for powders and granules which can be installed with a smaller investment by removing a part of components in an existing process and improving the process with a minimum cost, without involving relocation, especially in the vertical direction, of devices composing the process, in order to meet a recent demand. Provided is an impact flowmeter for powders and granules, wherein a flow straightener is omitted by adopting a multiple detection plate structure in which detection plates of the multiple detection plate structure are coupled together through a side plate and are suspended inside a casing by four leaf springs.
