DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A FLUID PRODUCT
Fluid dispensing device, having a pump connected to a reservoir and to a head. A piston (22) is connected to a piston rod (25) and provided with a push-button (26) to actuate the pump. A spring (27) brings the piston to the rest position after actuation. The body has a T-like connection (24), with a first branch connected to the metering chamber, a second branch connected to the reservoir and a third branch is connected to the head. A first valve (41) is provided in the second branch and a second valve (51) in the third branch, the valves are urged against the first and second respective valve seats (43, 53). The device has dose a adjustment (28, 29) cooperating with the piston rod and has a bush (29) coaxially around the piston rod movable to adjust the rest position of the piston.
MEDICINE DISPENSING SYSTEM HAVING STAIR-STEP DOSING INDICATORS
A medicine dispensing device, configured to contain a liquid medicine to be dispensed by the medicine dispensing device and having a plurality of dosing indicia spaced apart from each other around and in relation to a circumference of a surface of the medicine dispensing device, each dosing indicia being of a different height relative to a reference level and corresponding to different dose of the liquid medicine.
Flow sensor system with connection assembly
A system includes a flow sensor contained within a flow sensor housing, a base, and a seal. The base houses a controller that generates at least one operation modification signal, and the flow sensor is separable from and mountable onto the base. A bottom surface of the flow sensor housing includes the seal. The seal forms a liquid-tight engagement between the flow sensor housing and the base when the flow sensor is mounted onto the base.

Sensor for a drug delivery device
In one aspect the present disclosure relates to a sensor for measuring at least one physical or chemical parameter of a cartridge filled with a liquid substance. In a further aspect the disclosure relates to a drug delivery device equipped with such a sensor, wherein the sensor includes a planar flexible foil having a first section and having a second section separated from the first section, at least one measurement electrode located on the flexible foil, wherein the flexible foil is wrappable into a wrapped configuration in which the foil forms at least a first wrap with an inner diameter that is equal to or larger than an outer diameter of the cartridge, wherein in the wrapped configuration the first section and the second section at least partially overlap, at least one fastener located in one of the first and second section and configured to attach to the other one of the first and second sections for keeping the flexible foil in the wrapped configuration.
PUMP WITH PUMPING CHAMBER CREATED BY TELESCOPING ACTION DRIVEN BY FRICTION
A pump subsystem for fluid delivery (e.g., in a wearable patch pump) is provided wherein pumping action is generated by linear piston movement that pulls a plug, which is interconnected to the piston between two mechanical extremes or end stops in a telescopic or variable volume fluid chamber. Such interconnection enables piston and plug to move a certain distance with respect to each other that corresponds to a predefined swept volume of the pump subsystem. Telescoping-like effect of relative piston and plug movement provides for intake and discharge of fluid with respect to the fluid chamber. Movement of plug within piston can be enabled by the friction of seals placed on the plug, which serve to provide resistance to piston motion and therefore force translation motion of the plug to lag relative to the piston translation motion during portions of the pump cycle.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR CAPTURING IMAGES OF MEDICAL CONDITION MANAGEMENT EVENTS
A drug delivery device system with mutable indicia and method for using same are provided. The drug delivery device system includes a syringe and/or syringe components (e.g., needle shield, needle guard), or autoinjector pen, or wearable autoinjector with mutable indicia and a software application for an external device to analyze images of the mutable indicia to automatically determine and record status of the drug delivery device. The mutable indicia or codes on the drug delivery device or its components represent different medical events such as dose completion, dose amount, and safety feature deployment or removal and can be detected by and otherwise logged by the external device. The external device may execute an application configured to further process data obtained via captured images of mutable indicia and display related information (e.g., fluid remaining in syringe barrel, delivered dose, and so on).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING DOSE INFORMATION
A system for capture of dose delivery information is provided. The system includes a medication delivery device, a dose information capture device adapted to he attached to the medication delivery device, and a target element adapted to be attached to the medication delivery device. The target element comprises a magnet or ferrous element and the target element attaches to the medication delivery device on a dose delivery mechanism of the medication delivery device. The dose information capture device includes a magnetic position sensor adapted to detect a position of the target element. As an alternative to magnetic sensing, MEMS flow sensors, and the like may also be used. Exemplary systems preferably transmit dose information in real time to remote devices for further processing,
INDEXING DELIVERY DEVICE
A dispensing device is disclosed which provides for dispensing multiple doses in amounts determined by a movable collar attached to a plunger shaft.
