DOSING ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH A FILLER, A VALVE FOR A DOSING ASSEMBLY AND A METHOD OF PROVIDING A FILL MATERIAL
A dosing assembly for a filler including a valve assembly, a product hopper, a containment system and an attachment bracket. The dosing assembly can be coupled to a filler (for example, after filling, and prior to closing, capping or covering a container) for dispensing a dose of a fill material into the container. The fill material may comprise any number of different granular materials, including, but not limited to magnesium particles.

MEASURING MECHANISM, AND FIXED-QUANTITY DISPENSING CONTAINER AND FIXED-QUANTITY APPLICATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided are a measuring mechanism for measuring a predetermined fixed amount or an arbitrary amount of a liquid composition and discharging it, and a quantitative dispensing container and a quantitative applicator including such a mechanism. A measuring mechanism is provided that includes a base and a head defining a measurement space between the base and itself, the base and the head configured to be capable of changing the volume of the measurement space in response to a predetermined operation of the head including a measurement operation for increasing the volume of the measurement space and a discharge operation for reducing the volume of the measurement space. The base includes a first passageway for allowing the composition to flow from the outside into the measurement space, and a first check valve located on the first passageway. The first check valve of the base increases its sealability if there is a positive pressure in the measurement space.

Oil soluble additive injection apparatus
A lubricant additive dispensing apparatus comprising a tubular housing having a fluid supply passageway and a fluid discharge passageway; a filtration element; a fluid additive element (containing a volume of fluid additive); and a biasing element. The filtration element, fluid additive element and biasing element are assembled in a linear arrangement parallel to a central axis of the dispenser main body. The arrangement is such where the biasing element applies a compression force to each of the filtration element and the fluid additive element.
Metered dose inhalers
The present invention addresses the problem of turbophoresis and provides a relatively simple and low cost solution for a metered dose inhaler, in particular, a pressure-actuated metered dose inhaler. A metering valve (100) comprises a valve body (110), a valve stem (130) mounted within the valve body (110) and a spring element (140) for biasing the valve stem (130) in an at rest position. A pre-metering region (170) is formed in the valve stem (130) which is provided with a miniature valve seal (210) at its inlet (180). The miniature valve seal (210) effectively isolates the pre-metering region (170) from surrounding bulk formulation (4) within a canister (1) in which the metering valve (100) is mounted when the valve stem (130) is in the at rest position.
