CONTAINER FOR DOSING A FLOWABLE SOLID
Embodiments are directed to a container for dispensing equal doses of a flowable solid. The container may include a body defining an interior volume including a storage volume, an outlet passage, and a dosing chamber in communication with the storage volume and the outlet passage. The container may include a closure that has a lid and a plunger. The lid may be rotatably coupled to the body such that it rotates about a first axis from a closed position to an open position. The plunger may be rotatably coupled to the lid and configured to seal the dosing chamber. The container may be configured to dispense a dose of the flowable solid when the plunger is in the unsealed position and the container is at least partially inverted, and each dose may have an equal volume.
Modular meter system for a dry product applicator
A meter wheel system for a dry agricultural product applicator can include a bank of meter assemblies made from modular meter units. In one aspect, each meter assembly in the bank can be made from modular meter units. The modular meter units can be connected in a stacked configuration to provide a specific overall length to achieve a corresponding flow rate and then banked together to form the system. A bank of meter assemblies made from modular meter units can be secured between top and bottom plates. The plates can be bolted to each other and have receptacles that receive protrusions from top and bottom surfaces of the meter assemblies. Lengths of meter assemblies can be picked based on particular delivery rates for the section it feeds. An overall length of each meter assembly can be a multiple of a length of the modular meter unit.
Dispensing device
The invention relates to a dispensing device for metering and dispensing a predetermined number of multiparticulates from a container. The dispensing device comprises a chamber which includes an inlet through which multiparticulates can enter the chamber and an overflow through which multiparticulates can leave the chamber. There is also an outlet through which multiparticulates can be dispensed from the chamber. The chamber comprises a metering surface which includes at least one retaining portion. The, or each, of the retaining portions is configured to be able to releasably retain a single multiparticulate.
Variable rate air metering system
A variable rate air metering system is provided. The system includes seed meter cartridges, each having a housing, a meter wheel, and a variable speed electric motor operatively connected to the seed meter cartridge. The seed meter cartridges provide flowable material to distribution manifolds, which are configured to distribute flowable material to multiple row outputs for deposition into a field. A control system is configured to control operation of the distribution manifolds for enabling/disabling dispersement of flowable material to row units. The control system is also configured to adjust the dispersement rate of flowable material by the seed meter cartridges in association with the opening/disabling the dispersement of flowable material to row outputs.
Dispenser and measuring cap device and method
Spill and contaminant resistant dispensers and measuring cap devices and methods for measuring and dispensing a desired amount of a bulk particulate, powdery, granular or viscous liquid substance from a storage container through a cap or a dispenser are provided. A dispenser and measuring cap is attached to a storage container or comprises an integral storage container. The dispenser and measuring cap has one or more measuring chamber ducts, each having a different predetermined volume. The measuring chamber ducts are selectively and separately operationally aligned with an internal funnel stem and a dispensing spout. A selected measuring chamber duct is filled with the substance by inverting the cap and attached container. A measured amount of the substance is captured and dispensed, and the unused portion of the substance retained in the storage container without exposure to outside contaminants or implements, by rotating the duct into operational alignment with the spout.
Dispensing Apparatus
Dispensing apparatus is provided for delivering and/or dispensing a pre-determined amount of a product in use. The apparatus includes dispensing means having inlet means for allowing product to enter the dispensing means in use, outlet means for allowing product containable within the dispensing means in use to be dispensed therefrom during a dispensing action of the apparatus, and channel means provided between the inlet means and the outlet means for allowing product to move between the inlet means and the outlet means in use. Recess means are defined in the channel means. The dimensions of the recess means define or substantially define the pie-determined amount of product that can be delivered through the outlet means for each dispensing action of the apparatus. The inlet means and/or at least one aperture defined in the dispensing means is arranged and/or is of such dimensions that excess product contained in the channel means that cannot fit into the recess means is able to pass through said inlet means and/or said at least one aperture and out of the channel means in use prior to a dispensing action of product from the outlet means.
POWDER SUPPLY APPARATUS
A powder supply apparatus includes a measuring shaft having a recess to be filled with powder, and a powder filling mechanism for filling the recess of the measuring shaft with the powder. The powder supply apparatus includes a rotary cylinder for sliding the measuring shaft along an axis of the measuring shaft, and a distal-end cover plate of a cylinder where the powder in the recess is leveled off by a slide of the measuring shaft. The rotary cylinder directs the recess downward by rotating the measuring shaft about the axis of the measuring shaft and supplies the leveled powder in the recess downward from the recess to a lifting plate at a predetermined position by dropping the powder.
Container for storing and dispensing loose powder in a clean and efficient manner
A container for storing and dispensing loose powder has a jar, a multitiered sifting-dispenser, a dispenser slot, and a closure plug. The multitiered sifting dispenser is a rigid frustum-shaped divider that separates an interior cavity of the jar into two compartments. The dispenser slot traverses from a first compartment to a second compartment by passing through the multitiered sifting-dispenser. As a result, cosmetic powder that is stored in the first compartment can be dispensed into the second compartment and subsequently deposited onto the multitiered sifting dispenser. The closure plug serves to plug the dispenser slot. To accomplish this, the closure plug is held into place by the jar lid.
CLOUD COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING CLUSTERS OF REMOTE DEVICES
In one embodiment, the present disclosure includes a cloud computer system for controlling a plurality of remote devices comprising a cloud server including a cloud based operating system comprising a data model stored in a computer memory. The data model includes commands that may be performed by a plurality of remote devices in a remote system and, for each remote device, one or more operations for triggering processes executed by the remote device. The cloud based operating system generates a set of instructions from the plurality of commands and corresponding operations to control a portion of the remote devices to perform a task.
