A method and a system measure interfering influences on a checkweighing device. In the method, external interference data are obtained, as are interference data from the checkweighing device itself and interference data from an object being weighed, by calculating or mapping the weighing error data in the stationary state, in the operating state, and in the weighing state. The system for measuring the interference uses a meter and a processing apparatus. The meter and the processing apparatus perform an interference measurement and a compensation method. The amount of interference in the checkweighing device in each state and the amount of influence of the interference on the weighing performance is obtained, thereby facilitating the production, debugging, maintenance, and use of a checkweighing device.

A yield measurement system for a cold planer having a conveyor is disclosed. The yield measurement system may include a hydraulic motor configured to propel the conveyor, a first sensor configured to generate a first signal indicative of a force acting on the conveyor by material being moved by the conveyor, and a second sensor configured to generate a second signal indicative of a pressure differential across the hydraulic motor. The yield measurement system may also include a controller in communication with the first and second sensors. The controller may be configured to determine when the conveyor is not transferring material based on the second signal, and automatically recalibrate the yield measurement system based on the first signal when the conveyor is not transferring material.

Various embodiments provide a high precision belt weighing device and a high precision belt weighing method. An exemplary high precision belt weighing device includes a set of buffer carrier rollers provided between a first and second belt weighing scale frames. A volume scale hopper is provided above the set of buffer carrier rollers. A transfer conveyor is provided above the volume scale hopper. The first and second belt weighing scale frames, the volume scale hopper, an initial point detector, and a speedometer are connected with a weighing control instrument by cables. Cumulative weights of bulk materials handled by each of the first and second belt weighing scale frames, the corrected weight of bulk materials in the volume scale hopper, and a zero point in the length of a conveying belt detected by the initial point detector are displayed on the weighing control instrument.
