A weighing apparatus includes a rough-charge weigher and a combination weigher. A plurality of weighing hoppers of the combination weigher are, when seen in a plan view, arranged in a manner to form a line that constitutes a part of a virtual circle. The plurality of weighing hoppers include a one-end weighing hopper disposed at one end of the line, an other-end weighing hopper disposed at the other end of the line, and a plurality of middle weighing hoppers arranged on the line between the one-end weighing hopper and the other-end weighing hopper. The rough-charge weigher is, when seen from the one-end weighing hopper and the other-end weighing hopper, disposed at an opposite side to the middle weighing hoppers, and at least a part of the rough-charge weigher is disposed inside the virtual circle or on the virtual circle.

METHOD FOR DOSING A TARGET COMPONENT

The invention relates to a method for dosing a target component (20), wherein a dosing system (10) doses the target component (20) to a target value (Z20), which corresponds to a desired nominal value (S20soll), wherein an additional dosing system (12) doses at least one additional component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed, to a target value (Z21) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed which is lower than a desired nominal value (S21soll) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed, wherein an actual value (G20ist) of the target component (20) and at least one actual value (G21ist) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed are then determined, a content (A) of the target component (20) then being calculated according to the actual value (G20ist) of the target component (20) and/or the actual value (G21ist) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed and the content (A) being compared to a limit value (T) or tolerance band (T), at least the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed being additionally dosed in the event of the limit value (T) or tolerance band (T) being exceeded.

A controller: continuously measures, by the weight sensor, a weight of the objects to be weighed that are fed by the feeding adjuster from the feeding device to the lower hopper; and at a point when the weight of the objects to be weighed that are fed to the lower hopper has reached the rough-charge weight, stops the feeding adjuster.

The feed plate and beam stabilizer for a granular material weighing system are components used with granular material weighing systems, such as those used for filling cartridges with gunpowder. The feed plate is a circular plate disposed within a hopper of a granular material trickler. The circular plate is spaced apart from the bottom of the hopper by a plurality of substantially L-shaped members, which are used to impart movement to granular material contained in the granular material trickler when the circular plate is driven to rotate. The beam stabilizer includes a stabilizing wire connected to a lever arm for selectively contacting a beam of a beam balance of a granular material weighing system. The stabilizing wire makes contact with the beam to provide additional dampening to the beam to cease oscillation thereof following discharge of granular material into the weighing pan of the granular material weighing system.

Method for dosing a target component

The invention relates to a method for dosing a target component (20), wherein a dosing system (10) doses the target component (20) to a target value (Z20), which corresponds to a desired nominal value (S20soll), wherein an additional dosing system (12) doses at least one additional component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed, to a target value (Z21) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed which is lower than a desired nominal value (S21soll) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed, wherein an actual value (G20ist) of the target component (20) and at least one actual value (G21ist) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed are then determined, a content (A) of the target component (20) then being calculated according to the actual value (G20ist) of the target component (20) and/or the actual value (G21ist) of the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed and the content (A) being compared to a limit value (T) or tolerance band (T), at least the component (21, 22, 23) to be follow-on dosed being additionally dosed in the event of the limit value (T) or tolerance band (T) being exceeded.
