SENSOR DEVICE FOR DETECTING DISINFECTING STATE
Devices and methods for detecting a disinfecting state are described. An example of a sensor device is disclosed to include: a housing; a radiation sensitive material disposed on one or more portions of an external surface of the housing; a sensor configured to measure intensity information associated with ultraviolet (UV) radiation of a first frequency band; a controller configured to record the intensity information, temporal information associated with measuring the intensity information, or both; and a transceiver device configured to transmit and receive radio frequency (RF) signals.
Optical Measurement Instrument, Server Device, and Optical Measurement Method
An arithmetic expression used for estimating a target item of a specimen is more easily incorporated into an optical measurement system. An optical measurement instrument includes an optical analysis unit configured to perform an optical analysis on a specimen and measure an intensity of light as a result of the optical analysis, and an arithmetic processing unit configured to download an arithmetic expression from a server device via a network, and perform a quantitative analysis on a target substance contained in the specimen by substituting the result of the optical analysis by the optical analysis unit into the arithmetic expression.

Constant Light System and Ambient-Light Intensity Detector Thereof
An ambient-light intensity detector includes a light-uniforming component, a light-converging component and a photosensitive element, wherein the light-converging component defines a light-converging path. The light-uniforming component and the photosensitive surface of the photosensitive element are retained in the light-converging path. The light-uniforming component is configured to uniformly and evenly mix the reflection light to form a pending detection light while the reflection light passing through the light-uniforming component. The light-converging component is configured to converge the detection light to the light-converging path and the converged detection light is received by the photosensitive element at the photosensitive surface thereof, such that the intensity of the ambient light is obtained by detecting the detection light by the photosensitive element.
Proximity illuminance sensor module and mobile terminal using same
The present disclosure relates to a proximity illuminance sensor and a mobile terminal using the same, and disclosed is the mobile terminal of which an upper bezel can be shortened by using: the proximity illuminance (IR) sensor disposed on the rear surface of a front case and disposed to be perpendicular to a display unit; and a light reflector disposed at one side of the proximity illuminance sensor, such that light is incident to the proximity illuminance sensor or emitted from the proximity illuminance sensor to the outside.
Variable modulation of radiation and components
Various embodiments include systems and methods to provide selectable variable gain to signals in measurements using incident radiation. The selectable variable gain may be used to normalize signals modulated in measurements using incident radiation. The selectable variable gain may be attained using a number of different techniques or various combinations of these techniques. These techniques may include modulating a modulator having modulating elements in which at least one modulating element acts on incident radiation differently from another modulating element of the modulator, modulating the use of electronic components in electronic circuitry of a detector, modulating a source of radiation or combinations thereof. Additional apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.

Image pickup apparatus capable of reducing influence of flicker, method of controlling the same, and storage medium
An image pickup apparatus capable of reducing influence of flicker while suppressing delay of start of photographing. An image pickup device and a photometric sensor pick up images of an object. A CPU obtains images by controlling driving of one of the device and the sensor to perform charge accumulation and charge readout. Further, the CPU detects a flicker frequency and a flicker phase of a flicker light source, and stores them in a memory as first information. When photographing, if the CPU determines that the first information is not valid, an ICPU obtains images by controlling driving of the other of them to perform charge accumulation and charge readout. Further, the ICPU detects the flicker frequency and the flicker phase and stores them in a memory as second information. The CPU controls exposure timing according to the second information to perform photographing.
